Smithing Stone and Ore Farming |
---|
|
You can get ores every time you battle! They can be picked up as you do the mission so keep an eye out for violet crystals on the field as you slash your way through enemies.
Materials can be obtained from Survey Spots after finishing a side mission on the war map.
Some survey spots only need to be visited before you can get an item as a reward while others need you to make a choice, pay gold, or meet a certain condition before you can be rewarded with the gift.
Materials can also be obtained by collecting and trading Smithing Stones with the Supply Master. It is recommended to trade unused materials and equipment in exchange for Smithing Stones to get better materials and ores!
Maxing out the Facility Level of the Supply Depot is possibly the best way to farm materials in the long run. What this does is that it decreases the exchange rate of Smithing Stones with materials and ores, as well as having a wider range of supplies you can claim.
That way, you can exchange your unused materials for the ones you need at the best deals!
Everyone's favorite merchant is back in town and is ready to sell items that you need to win battles.
You might see Anna every now and then on the War Map. To be able to access her shop, you need unlock the region she's at and talk to her. She'll then set up her shop at your camp near the Item Shopkeeper.
She sells a variety of goods like seals, stat-boosting items, and even ores!
Ores can also be obtained as rewards after you reach a certain number of achievements. You can claim your rewards from the Reward Master at the camp.
List of All Achievements and Awards
Ores that you pick up from battles can be used to forge or repair your units' equipment. Head on over to the Blacksmith's and start forging, repairing, and unleashing the effects of your units' Sacred Weapons and Heroes' Relics to make battles easier.

The violet crystals aren't smithing stones, they're weapon durability restoring powerups, a smaller version of the large purple crystal the game tells you about in one of the first tutorials of the game. Running around to collect these purple crystals will NOT do anything for your smithing stone count, please do not spread incorrect information.
