You can perform Bookmark Saves during the middle of a battle in-game. This allows you to take a break from battling and get back in action. To perform a bookmark save, pause the game and go to the System menu. You will receive a prompt that asks if you want to create a new overwrite save. Click yes to this to save your game.

Difference Between Classic and Casual Mode

While you can perform bookmark saves no matter which difficulty setting you to choose, there are some key differences between bookmark saving in casual mode and classic mode.

Casual Mode ・ You can continue the battle after bookmark saving
・ Loading a bookmark save does not delete it.
Classic Mode ・ You will return to the title screen after bookmark saving.
・ Loading a bookmark save will delete the file.

Is There Autosave?

You Can Autosave After Battles and Chapters

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes allows you to autosave after battles and chapters. This ensures that you can keep your in-game progress just in case you didn't save your game manually.
