Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes includes choices and missables which heavily affect the story, as well as dialogue choices to choose which may affect allies' support points. Let us guide you safely through dialogue choices and their consequences, as well as missable dialogues.
List of Contents
At the end of Chapter 2, you have the option to join one of the three houses: Black Eagles, Blue Lions, and Golden Deer.
This is the point in the game where the story branches off to three unique storylines and locks you with the playable characters associated with the house you choose.
Which House Should You Choose?
It's sometimes possible to recruit units from other paths using Persuade Strategies at the start of the final battle of a Chapter. If the player chooses not to use a Persuade Strategy for a particular character, that character will need to be killed to progress through the battle, and it will become impossible to recruit them for the remainder of the playthrough.
To avoid missing these characters, be sure to collect all Strategies available on the War Map before starting the final battles, and if you're still missing any Strategies at the start of the battle, back out of the battle until all the Strategies are available.
How to Recruit All Playable Characters
Byleth and Jeralt can be recruited into the party by making specific choices in one of the later-game final battles, with the Chapter and details vary depending on the path. If the wrong choices are made or an objective is failed, these characters will be permanently missed for that playthrough.
Missing Byleth will also result in missing Arval, who is unlocked for purchase in your Personal Quarters after beating the game after having recruited Byleth.
A secret class, the Dancer, can be unlocked by visiting a specific Survey Spot on the War Map. This class can be acquired by any character, providing more potential versatility to your party.
As Survey Spots become unavailable when you complete the Chapter, the Dancer can be easily missed in a playthrough. Although the position and Chapter of the house vary between paths, it's easy to identify based on its description listed as A town some distance from the battlefield along with its requirement to complete all side missions in the area (though note that you only need to complete the side missions for the battle in the same region as the house).
How to Unlock the Dancer Class
Yet another point players who fail to recruit Byleth will miss out on are the secret Chapters 15 and 16, considered by some to be a Secret Ending despite not occurring at the end of the game due to their resolution of important plot points.
If you recruit Byleth successfully, these chapters will automatically be added to the story after Chapter 14 and before the Final Chapter.
At the start of Chapter 10, Shez will remember the Merc Whistle, an item from their past. Giving this one-time item to a character of your preference will yield a special response and reward you with a Special Accessory which changes a character's Action Ability.
Only one Merc Whistle is available per playthrough, meaning that all of the Special Accessories that you don't get are unavailable for the rest of the run.
After progressing past certain parts in the story, certain Support Conversations can be locked off, making it impossible to raise your Support Level with that Character.
Since reaching A-Level Support is required to give the Merc Whistle, this can lock you off from obtaining specific Special Accessories within a playthrough, such as Byleth's. Once you know who you want to give the Merc Whistle to, make a move before progressing the story, as you might miss your chance.
Choosing the right choice in a dialogue option raises the ally's support points by one tier. On the other hand, if you chose a different dialogue option, you will not receive a support point from the ally that you are speaking to.
In some cases, you may encounter two allies speaking with one another. Speaking with them will give you two dialogue choices that only give a support point to either one of them.

Support Guide: How to Increase Support Fast
As detailed above in the Merc Whistle Choice section, certain Support Conversations will become inaccessible after progressing too far in the game.
It's possible to carry over Support Levels with New Game Plus, but if you want to max out all of your Support Levels within one playthrough, be sure to raise them efficiently when you get new Characters and watch all Support Conversation cutscenes as soon as they are unlocked.
At the end of the battle, you'll be transported to the camp where you can talk to your allies in the area.
Some of these allies may offer a dialogue choice, so be sure to talk to everyone in the camp before proceeding with the main story.
You may also encounter dialogue choices in skippable cutscenes that appear before or after a battle. It is recommended to avoid skipping these cutscenes as you may miss out on potential dialogue options that raise the support points of certain allies.
