Item prices listed reflect those of fully developed facilities.
Most gifts can be bought from the Item Shopkeeper at the Base Camp. They have a limited stock but they'll be replenished at the start of a new chapter.
Aside from buying from the shopkeeper, you can also sell him your items so you can get extra gold!
Another way of getting gifts is through Survey spots. These areas can be unlocked after finishing a side mission on the war map.
Some survey spots only need to be visited before you can get an item as a reward while others need you to make a choice, pay gold, or meet a certain condition before you can be rewarded with the gift.
Gifts can also be obtained as rewards after you reach a certain number of achievements. You can claim your rewards from the Reward Master at the camp.

You can figure out what kind of gifts they like receiving by observing them through your interactions during story mode cutscenes and talking to them in the camp. You can also check out their individual pages to see what they like or dislike!
