How to Get Seals |
---|
|
The easiest way to get your seals is by going to the Item Shopkeeper located at the camp. Once you have reached the required chapter for a Seal to become available, it will automatically appear for sale at the Item Shopkeeper.
However, keep in mind that they only have limited stock, and the shop will only restock its inventory at the start of a new chapter.
Survey Spots can sometimes reward the player with Seals, often in exchange for Gold. These trades are usually a bargain, and will no longer be available once you complete the Chapter, so it's a good idea to explore every Survey Spot on a map if you're looking for more Seals.
Some battles also reward the player with seals after achieving S Rank. You can view the criteria for the mission on the pre-battle menu screen or from the menu during battle.
In the War Map, you can check the S Rank reward for each battle by hovering over the territory. However, keep in mind that you can only get the S Rank rewards once.

Another way of collecting seals is by progressively completing achievements and collecting the reward from the Reward Master at the camp. You can view the list of all the items you can get from the reward master, so be sure to check them out to see how many achievements you need to complete to get the seals!
List of All Achievements and Awards
Seal Type | Required Chapter |
---|---|
Advanced Seals | Start of Chapter 7 |
Master Seals | Start of Chapter 10 |
Advanced Seals and Master Seals can only be used after reaching a certain chapter in the game.
Even if your characters have Mastered their Intermediate Classes and are ready to move on to Advanced Classes, they won't be able to do so until you reach Chapter 7. That said, once you do reach Chapter 7, Advanced Classes and the related Resources will become readily available from the Item Shopkeeper and Supply Master.
The same applies to Master Seals. They're only available from the Item Shopkeeper and Supply Master at the start of Chapter 10.
Story Walkthrough: List of Chapters
Seals are a type of item that are mainly used to unlock classes for each character. There are different types of seals that are used to unlock a variety of classes in different tiers.
Seal | Description |
---|---|
Intermediate Seal | Allows unit to take certification exam for an intermediate class. |
Advanced Seal | Allows unit to take certification exam for an Advanced class. |
Master Seal | Allows unit to take certification exam for an Master class. |
To start unlocking classes, head to the Training Grounds and talk with the Training Instructor. There'll be an option to acquire a class where you can start choosing which class you want to have for your character.
If you made a mistake about the class you've chosen for a character, then don't worry, as changing to a class you have already unlocked will not require the use of Seals. As long as you have them unlocked already, you can change their classes for no cost.
Even after you've obtained Advanced Seals or Master Seals, you won't be able to use them until you've obtained the Advanced/Master Class Certification Exam upgrade from the Expand Facility screen for the Training Instructor. It can be purchased for 10 Quality Building Material and 10 Veteran Training Gear.
Simply unlocking this upgrade once will allow any character to unlock a class of the associated rank simply by using the required seal.

Small correction. The article mentions that it's impossible to get advanced or master seals before certain chapters. That's not entirely true It is possible to get some seals early by doing these achievements (don't know the English name). The moment you reach 80 points for example, the NPC will reward you with an advanced seal, regardless of the chapter But it may be not possible to use them right away, since the player likely doesn't have the material yet to unlock the exams
