Main Objectives
1. Seize all the strongholds in Fhirdiad! 2. Defeat Annette and Gustave! 3. Defeat Dedue and seize the Main Gate Plaza! 4. Defeat Sylvain! 5. Defeat Dimitri and break throuugh his defense of Fhirdiad! Side Objectives ・ Defeat the Messenger before they reach their destination to stop the call for reinforcements! ・ Defeat the Cmbat Enginerers to prevent them from reaching the Main Gate Plaza! |

1 | Once the quest begins, split the team into two groups, one taking the east and one to the west. Sword users will be at a disadvantage against the lance users in the strongholds. |
2 | Taking over those strongholds will trigger the opening of the gates and an optional mission to stop the Messenger from calling reinforcements. Luckily, having a team on both sides means you can intercept the Messenger easily. |
3 | Continue to take the strongholds until Annette and Gustave step in. This will trigger the gates opening on both sides of the map. With 8 characters, send each of them to take at least one stronghold. Those with disadvantages can assist instead to speed the process along. |
4 | An optional mission will begin with Bishops heading towards Gustave. If you defeat him quickly, it will also count towards finishing the side mission. This is also the moment that the Protect the Strongholds Strategy comes into play! Wyvern Riders will defend your current strongholds. |
5 | Upon defeating Annette and Gustave, the gates will open once more to reveal Dedue. Take over the strongholds near him before engaging him in battle. Do not send all allies inside. Keep at least one ally outside the walls to the east and west. |
6 | Ambushers will take the First and Second Checkpoints and they will shut the rampart doors! You will not be able to exit until you defeat Dedue. Meanwhile, Sylvain and a Swordmaster will advance on your strongholds. The Supply Line Strategy will help restore all your strongholds and keep them up for longer! |
7 | Have your reserved allies take on Sylvain and the Swordmaster while you focus on taking down Dedue. A side mission will start, summoning Combat Engineers to help Dedue. You can defeat them or focus on Dedue alone as his defeat will count towards the side mission. |
8 | Once you have defeated Dedue and Sylvain, focus your efforts on taking over the last strongholds. But keep a team in the center of the map. |
9 | Dimitri is the last enemy you have to face. If your Shez is a sword user, you may be at a disadvantage against him. Attack with all your might to end the quest! |
