There are no romance options between characters in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, but Expeditions and the Support Points system do provide an opportunity to get close to your allies. Learn about all the romantic features in the game!

Are There Romance Options?
There is No Explicit Romance Feature
Although there are many opportunities to build connections between characters, there is no romance feature per se in the game. Shez is not able to start a relationship with or marry any other character, keeping things strictly platonic.
However, there are some romantic features in the game which approach romance without explicitly taking the next step. It's clear that the developers put plenty of stock into character interaction, so those who are disappointed by the lack of romance need not lose hope.
Romantic Features
Expeditions
Despite the lack of explicit relationships, the game has a robust “Expedition” feature which can only be described accurately as Going On a Date.
On Expeditions, you'll go to a nearby scenic locale and have a conversation with your partner, with prompts you to either Talk or ask a Question. Your responses to what they say will determine how the date goes, and giving three right answers will yield a Perfect Conversation.
Extra Time
When you have a Perfect Conversation during an Expedition, you'll have the chance to give a gift to your invited character, and spend Extra Time with them. During Extra Time, you'll get in close and be prompted to Nod, Joke, or Tease, while sadly stopping just one step short of a Kiss button.

Giving Gifts
You can also give gifts to allies to increase your Support Points with them. Each character has a set of likes and dislikes, and giving a gift that matches their preferences will provide a better boost.
Best Gifts to Give Each Character
Merc Whistle
At the start of Chapter 10, Shez will remember the Merc Whistle, an item from their past. Giving this one-time item to a character of your preference will yield a special response and reward you with a unique Accessory that changes a character's Action Ability.
Careful players will likely want to choose the character who gives the best Accessory, but for all the diehard romantics out there, the only honest choice is to follow your heart.

Support Conversations
Increasing Support Points with a character to a specific letter rank will unlock a Support Conversation with that character. These are cutscenes that show the interaction between the two characters and give more insight into their relationship. An astounding number of these are available, with three cutscenes for almost every possible pairing of characters in the game.

Cooking and Doing Chores
Cooking and doing chores at Camp will each let you bring along two characters to increase Support Points with. This is also a chance to enjoy a short cutscene with the characters and share some quality time together.
