    It seems that dragon signs are based on prior clear game data. Case in point, the dragon signs that give the crests of those recruitable in Azure Gleam (plus some extras) are listed here, while the dragon signs I have from Golden Wildfire save data lack some of the presented dragon signs while also having some signs that aren’t yet listed.
