Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has a similar open class system to Fire Emblem: Three Houses. This means that any unit can be in any class as long as they have met the prerequisites. This includes mastering the associated lower-tier class and having the correct seal item.
On the other hand, the classes in Fire Emblem Warriors are more fixed. Each unit has a set class and promotion that they generally cannot deviate from.

Three Hopes shares Camp features with Fire Emblem Warriors, such as increasing levels, boosting character abilities, and forging weapons. However, it has more additional features.
Similar to Fire Emblem: Three Houses, you can assign characters tasks and eat meals with them to increase support levels. Players can also buy battalions and gather materials to upgrade facilities.
Camp Features and Things to Do
| Choose the Black Eagles | Choose the Blue Lions | Choose the Golden Deer |
Three Hopes is divided into three Paths – Scarlet Blaze (Black Eagles), Azure Gleam (Blue Lions), and Golden Wildfire (Golden Deer) depending on which House you choose in Chapter 2. Each of these Paths has completely different missions, and each yield a different ending to the game.
This differs from the original Fire Emblem Warriors, which only has one storyline.
Which House Should You Choose?
Both games have the option of choosing between Classic Mode and Casual Mode. In Classic Mode, playable characters will permanently die once they are defeated.
In the original Fire Emblem Warriors, there is a facility you can use to revive dead characters. However, there is no option to revive characters in Three Hopes. Players will simply have to reset their game if they wish to undo a character's death.
The original Fire Emblem Warriors has a few DLC packs in addition to its free DLC. These DLC Packs contain new characters, maps, weapons, and costumes to play with.
On the other hand, Three Hopes does not have any DLC content as of now. Players who want additional content will simply have to explore all the story paths and unlock any secrets that the game has.
