When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Cordelia are +Atk and -Res. A higher Atk stat allows Cordelia to utilize her ability to attack twice with her weapon. Her Res is higher than Def so taking a bane in Res will balance her defenses. This makes Res the best bane for her. Her playstyle also revolves around not taking damage at all so a bane in defensive stats is preferable.

This build uses Firesweep Lance to make the most of her naturally good stats. With a Spd bane, Cordelia will have an Atk of 55 and Spd 43, making her a powerful unit that does not succumb to counterattacks. Galeforce will grant her additional action, allowing you to finish off any foes within reach.

This build stacks Atk/Spd skills and Dive-Bomb 3 to allow Cordelia to attack multiple times and defeat her foe before they can retaliate.
Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |
---|---|
SP: 400 | |
Might: 10 Range: 1 HP: +3 Inflicts Spd-2. If unit initiates combat, unit attacks twice. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 70%, grants Atk/Spd+4 during combat. :500 :200 |
|
We recommend the special effect refine for Cordelia's Lance because it grants +4 Atk, which boosts her offensive power by a lot since she attacks twice by default. The +4 Spd is also very helpful because it cancels out the -2 Spd inflicted by the weapon and it helps Cordelia nail very powerful quad attacks. The trigger requirement is pretty easy to meet as well. You can pair her up with flying healers such as Reyson, Leanne or B!Fjorm to help meet the requirement.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Cordelia is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Cordelia has access to Resplendent Attire that will boost all her stats by +2. To get her Resplendent Attire, you must have purchased a FEH Pass when it was being distributed. Additionally, you can pay for it if you currently have access to a FEH Pass.
Cordelia's Lance is basically an upgraded Brave Lance+. Instead of inflicting -5 Spd, it only inflicts -2 Spd onto its user. It also has access to a refinement effect that grants Cordelia Atk/Spd+4 if her HP ≥ 70%. All these coupled with Cordelia's decent Spd stat makes quad attacks very common. Combined with her decent Atk potential, this all makes Cordelia a very deadly offensive unit.
Cordelia's native special, Galeforce, allows an additional action after combat when it activates. It is versatile as you can use it to retreat into the safe zone immediately after attacking, or you can make another attack to deal more damage. If enemies are bundled up, Cordelia can take down multiple foes in one turn without needing a dancer on her team.
Cordelia has a high offense statline of 35 Atk and Spd. This makes her one of the best candidates for the Firesweep Lance+. If you choose to run a Firesweep Lance+ build on Cordelia, consider inherting Life and Death onto her as well.
Cordelia has low survivability stats. If Cordelia is attacked, there is a high possibility that she will be taken out. Always be mindful of Cordelia's positioning in relation to the enemies who pose a threat to her in the enemy phase. Be wary of counterattacks as well. Cordelia cannot take much punishment before going down.
As a flying unit, Cordelia takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep her out of the range of archers, and leave them to other units.

Cordelia can be used to inherit the skill Galeforce. Do not worry about fodderring off Cordelia, as she is a pretty common unit. In fact, she is the best unit to get Galeforce from, as the other wielders of this ability are much rarer when compared to her.

Let’s see...to summon Heroes, first I’d have to pose, then fire a shot like so... Yes, I have the moves down perfec— Ahhh! Were you watching me? Why didn’t you say something sooner, {Summoner}?! Hm? Because I let my guard down? You’re very rude to spy on me like that! But I must admit...it’s nice that you can see me this way and not just as everyone’s "natural talent.” I won’t let my guard down on the battlefield, though. You are precious to me, and I swear to protect you. |
