This is a guide to leveling up your character and team in NEO: The World Ends with You (NEO TWEWY). Read on to learn about EXP farming, the best places to farm, the character level cap, and how to reach the max level!
Repeatedly battle Soul Pulvis by interacting with its Blue Noise boss symbol at Takeshita Street on Week 3, Day 7' during the post-game.
Soul Pulvis' 9500 HP stat is the lowest of all late-game and post-game bosses and is comparable to that of an early Week 2 boss.
Below is a breakdown of the Noise encountered during the boss fight and how much EXP is earned for defeating each. The EXP tallies up to 5,200 for the singular fight.
Noise Encountered | EXP |
---|---|
Soul Pulvis (x3) |
1200 |
Wooly AOR | 400 |
Drill 'n' Stinger (x2) |
300 |
Headbangin' Grizzly (x2) |
200 |
Tradishfrog | 80 |
Nefastraven (x2) |
60 |
You can even use Threads with the EXP Boost, Point Boost, or Jinxed Point Boost abilities to increase the amount of EXP earned. Although, the Jinxed Point Boost will make the battle a lot more difficult.
The max level for the full version of NEO: The World Ends with You is Level 100. Reaching this feat also grants you a Trophy and Graffiti both entitled "All Grown Up."
The character level cap for the demo is 15, and you will not be able to surpass it until loading into the full game.
Defeat a lot of enemies known as Noise in order to farm EXP and reach the Max Level. Noise appear in each area of the map, so make sure to Scan for Noise every time you visit an area. If you leave an area after clearing it of Noise and return to it, the Noise will respawn in full.
Defeat Noise in order to earn EXP (experience points) to level up. You earn EXP immediately after defeating each individual Noise, so you level up mid-combat. Leveling up mid-combat fully restores your health (HP) bar.
Leveling up increases your team's max HP by 30 points and increases the max drop rate multiplier by 1.
When you level up, you level up your Max Level. On the Difficulty menu, you are free to configure your current level to anywhere between 1 and your Max Level. Adjusting your current level will affect your team's HP and drop rate multiplier.
