In Another Day, you will have the option to swap out one of your combat buddies to Minamimoto. To swap out character, follow the guide below:

There are pins that you can only mutate using Minamimoto and threads abilities exclusive to him. Swap to Minamoto to mutate those pins and take advantage of that threads.
