Food Shop Guide | Character Food Preferences

This is a guide on the Food shops (restaurants) and dining out in NEO: The World Ends with You (NEO TWEWY). Read on to learn about Calories and Fullness and how to tell if character will like the Food!

Food Shop Guide

Food Recorded When Bought

In the Food shop, you'll be provided with a selection of Food that will provide your characters various stat boosts. The Food only becomes a part of your Records after you've bought and consumed the Food.

All Characters Must Order

In order to Order Up!, each character has to order an item from the menu. You will not be allowed to proceed to Food consumption if not all characters are ordering.

Orders Stop After Maxing Fullness

On the top right of the Food shop screen, there is a Fullness percentage bar. Keep a close eye on this as you order Food, as your team won't order anymore Food after their Fullness is maxed. You can start a round of orders from below 100% and go over, but you can't start another round once past 100%.

Fullness is measured in Calories

The amount the Fullness percentage bar increases is determined by the amount of Calories the items of Food contain. Calories is noted in green font below the price. Try to gauge how much percentage the Calories add after the first round of orders so you can maximize your food consumption.

Go out and battle after reaching Max Fullness

If you've maxed out your team's Fullness but still want to buff your characters' stats, you can just go out and battle Noise. Do so until your team's Fullness is completely depleted then return to the restaurant and order more Food. You can still view your Fullness bar at the top right of your screen when exploring Shibuya.

Character Food Preferences

Characters can either love, be neutral to, or dislike an item of Food. Feeding them Food that they love will likely trigger a Tasty Bonus that increases one of the stat buffs provided by the Food while feeding them Food they are neutral to will sometimes trigger the Tasty Bonus to one of the stat buffs. Conversely, feeding them Food that they dislike will unlikely trigger the Tasty Bonus to one of the stat buffs provided by the Food.

Additionally, Tasty Bonus could sometimes also permanently increase Pin Drop Rate by 1.

How to Tell Character Food Preference

You can tell what the character's reaction to the Food is immediately after you assign the Food order to them. If they seem disappointed or disgusted by the Food, don't proceed with the order.
