ANALYSIS 1 - Strengths

Most of Pola's skills have built-in healing effects, restoring her HP based on her max HP. These skills ensure she remains on the field longer, contributing consistently to battles. Both "Gleaming Bullet" and "Liberto Liberta" become more substantial from the 7th turn onward with double damage, making her a potential late-game powerhouse.

Skills like "Liberto Liberta" deal multiple random hits, effectively targeting several enemies. She executes eight attacks at max level, ensuring high damage output in large-scale battles. "The Courage to Choose" allows her to capitalize on healing effects from allies, restoring her own HP and boosting Emerald Soul allies' ATK. This skill makes her a great team player with healing-focused units like Merlyn and Yuni.

"Unrequited Feelings" provides a 40% HP increase and, at max level, reduces incoming damage by 65%. These buffs make her exceptionally tanky. From the 7th turn onward, this passive skill grants 0 cooldown time and an SPD boost, allowing her to spam skills and become highly efficient in more prolonged battles.

ANALYSIS 2 - Drawbacks

While Pola's skills scale significantly post-7th turn, early-game performance is relatively weaker. Battles that don't last long may limit her effectiveness. Both "Gleaming Bullet" and "Liberto Liberta" target enemies at random, which makes her less reliable in focused damage strategies

Unlocking Pola's full potential requires significant leveling, with key skill upgrades (such as "Liberto Liberta" level 4 and "Unrequited Feelings" Level 3) gated behind higher levels (around level 181 onwards).

The "Courage to Choose" exclusively benefits Emerald Soul allies. If your team doesn't feature such units, the ATK buff becomes redundant.

Despite her tankiness, Pola may struggle against units that can deal quick and overwhelming damage early in the battle, bypassing her scaling strengths.

ANALYSIS 3 - Conclusion

Pola is a choice for more prolonged, strategic battles where her late-game scaling shines. Her mix of healing, damage, and survivability makes her versatile. However, for teams focused on burst damage or short battles, her potential might not fully manifest.

You should get her if your team composition and playstyle favor more prolonged battles or synergize with healing effects. Pola can be instrumental in Guild and Grand Battles if it lasts beyond 7 turns.

If you lack reliable healers or want a self-sustaining tank-damage hybrid, Pola can fill the role effectively. Her synergy with Emerald Soul allies makes her a valuable addition to specific team setups.

Awakening her to LR is recommended to maximize her impact since many of her most potent buffs and damage scaling are tied to higher levels.

Prioritize ATK, SPD and HP Runes

We recommend giving Pola ATK, SPD, and HP runes based on her skill set and her role as a tanky damage dealer with healing capabilities. ATK rune boosts her attack power, enhancing the damage output of her active skills like Liberto Liberta. SPD rune increases her speed, allowing her to act more frequently, which is especially useful when her cooldown is reduced to 0 after her 7th turn.

Pola can equip an HP rune for defensive runes, which increases her HP, further amplifying her healing effects and survivability. She may also equip CRIT RES Rune to reduce the chance of being inflicted critical hits.

Merlyn and Yuni provide essential support, ensuring the team stays alive and effective. Cordie's high bursting damage complements the team's sustained damage and healing. Milla's HP buffs benefit the entire team because of its Emerald soul affinity. Aside from that, Pola can also increase this team's ATK by 5% since they are all Emerald Soul allies.

High survivability and sustainability make them effective in prolonged battles. Serious burst damage from Cordie makes her capable of eliminating key targets, albeit random. Since Merlyn and Yuni have dispel, they have a good chance of removing debuffs.
