Prioritize ATK and HP Runes

ATK rune increases Rustica's attack power, which directly boosts the damage of her skills like Sanguine Mist and Ashen Wings. Getting higher attack power for Rustica means she can become a more formidable damage dealer.

HP rune increases Rustica's health which makes her more durable and able to withstand more damage. This is important as it allows her to stay in the fight longer and continue using her skills to support her team.

Other runes that can be equipped to Rustica to help maximize her potential are CRIT and SPD runes, as well as P. DEF and M. DEF runes.

This Amber tower team is heavily focused on physical damage, and need to be synergized well to amplify overall damage. Summer Amleth and Tama's debuffs, combined with team-wide ATK buffs from Primavera and Rustica, create a potent damage engine.

Rustica's kit is designed to enhance buffed allies. Then, Summer Amleth, Asahi, and Primavera all provide buffs; all support units meant for creating a strong buff-focused core.

Moreover, Rustica and Tama provide consistent shields, and Summer Amleth has a cheat death passive which offers multiple layers of protection for the team. Summer Amleth and Asahi's damage scales well over time due to their stacking ATK buffs, making them effective in longer battles. Primavera's team buffs also scale with more allies being alive at the start, further improving longevity.

If you want to have a more CRIT-focused team with enhanced team survivability and burst potential, you can replace Asahi with Winter Amour.

This team uses Winter Amour as a buffer that uses her Double Crit Chance Buffs to increase the critical hit chance of the ally with the highest SPD for 2 turns.

Critical hits at level 2 intensify the buff even more, potentialy increasing it to 55%. While Amour gains a self-critical hit buff at level three, increasing the power of the skill.

This team comp benefits fron the synergy among all the units which produces amplified physical damage. Units like Summer Amleth, Rustica, Primavera, and Tama use their skills to provide consistent defensive support and heavily buffed attacks.

Tanky Buffer with Heavy Damage Potential

Rustica is a buffer that has tank capabilities, as well as extensive defensive utility and potential to be a heavy damage dealer. Each of her skill enhances the ally with the highest number of buffs, particularly boosting HP drain and ATK.

Moreover, her skill Golden Azure Mending provides [Shield] to both her and the most-buffed ally. And her skill Bluebird's Protector decreases the damage received by Rustica as well as potentially buff Rustica.

Both of Rustica's active skills, Sanguine Mist and Ashen Wings, deliver significant physical damage. As Rustica levels up, these skills will have their damage potential increased, which enables Rustica to serve as a formidable damage dealer.

Rustica's specialty as a buffer unit is her ability to offer HP Drain boosts to an ally. In contrast to other buffer units like Fia, Lunalynn, Cherna, Rustica gains the ability to offer buffs to an ally on top of benefiting from the buff herself.

She also has an 8-turn (cannot be dispelled) [Shield] for her and her ally. And if that character is an Amber ally, the [Shield] gets stronger by 150% of Rustica's ATK.

Limited Use If Not Significantly Leveled Up

To realize the full potential of Rustica's skill, significant investment is typically required to level her up. Moreover, if the team composition is not centered around a strategy that relies on buffing allies, Rustica's overall effectiveness diminishes.

Players may find the cost high, especially with the risk of having a team comp that isn't built around buffing strategies.

Capable of Hybrid Buff, Tank, and Support

Despite potential issues with overall versatility, Rustica is a powerful hybrid-role witch with strong support capabilities and high damage output potential. Her skills are best and most effetctively put to use for buffing allies, particularly Amber units, and enhance their survivability and damage output.

However, a common weakness of her Rustica is the random targeting of her attacks and over-reliance on buff-centric strategies. Regardless, her overall utility as a tanky Amber buffer makes Rustica a valuable addition to many team compositions.
