A small-town girl from the Holy See of Hainz. Seeing the Witch Hunt lead to her friend's murder gave her a shock that transformed her into a witch. Petra is very self-conscious of the horn and claws that grew on her when she became a witch, and is now afraid of going out in public.

I hated witches.- Petra
Petra hated witches, and her reason for doing so is simple. Her parents absolutely hated witches, and it was passed down to her. Eager to be a good girl and please her parents, Petra would often say bad things about witches.
One day, Petra met a girl in the woods, who saved her from a rabid dog. She was initially very cautions with the girl, as she lived alone in the forest, and seemed to have used magic to drive the rabid dog away. However, Petra learned that the girl used an incense to repel the dog, and that she chose to live in seclusion because she wanted to be away from the city's noise. Despite the girl being a little bit odd, the two became good friends.
In a random day, the Knights captured Petra's friend and accused her of being a witch. The girl was dragged to the gallows, with the whole crowd voicing out terrible words of hate. Petra wanted to defend her friend, but the words never made it to her mouth as she was stunned with the intensity of the situation.

As her friend died, Petra's body felt hot and she couldn't hold back her tears. She heard a person in the crowd scream "Witch! There's a witch over there!" As everyone gazed at her direction, a confused and traumatized Petra realized that she grew a horn and that there were claws on her left hand. She looked just like the witches she despised, as illustrated in the books she read.
Petra rushed home, as if in denial of what had just happened, hoping this was all just her imagination. She was met by her parents, who, with sheer terror in their faces, yelled out "We didn't call the Knights here!" as the Knights came by. The desparation in their voices made it sound like they were pleading for their lives. To this day, Petra doesn't know how sincere her parents' words were.
Petra ran to the forest, as far as she could. She's been living in the forest since, much like her now deceased friend. She was often hungry and freezing. She still despises her fate, and what she has turned into. To this day, she doesn't know why or how she turned into the one thing she and her family hated the most.
Like many other witches in this game, Petra was rescued by the Duke of Fran, who then granted her refuge at his estate.
Petra is a cautious girl eager to please her parents. She hated witches with all her heart, until she became one herself. She also seems somewhat timid, as she failed to defend her friend as she was sent to the gallows.

| I hated witches. My reason was simple— because Mom and Dad hated them. I wanted my parents to think I was their good little girl, so I said all sorts of bad things about witches. In the picture books I used to read, witches were depicted as terrifying monsters that had big horns and claws. They disguised themselves as normal humans and wrecked havoc on people. That's why, even when that girl saved me from a rabid dog...I was really cautious at first. Because...I thought that since she lived all by herself in the forest, she might have actually been a witch. |

| With a single wave of her hand, the rabid dog scurried away with its tail between its legs. It looked just like magic... But, my eyes had deceived me. Because in actuality, she had used incense that dogs hate the smell of to get rid of it. She wasn't a witch at all—just a simple scholar who started living in the woods because she hated how noisy town life was. After that, the two of us started getting to know one another. I really liked talking to her, even if she was a bit strange. But one day... That girl...was captured by the Knights of Longinus. |

| That girl was dragged to the gallows. Loud curses poured out from the crowd around her. "Filthy witch. Face your punishment." "Die! Die! Die!!" No, you're wrong... That girl's not a witch...! I wanted to tell everyone the truth, but the words never made it to my lips. ...And then, she was gone. Why did she have to die...? Why...?! My body's hot. My chest aches. I knew I couldn't let people see me cry, but my tears wouldn't stop. It was then... I heard someone scream. "Witch! There's a witch over there!" Everyone's terrified gazes...were on me. |

| A long horn...and claws on my left hand... My body...looked identical to the witches in my picture books. Ah...Aahh...! No...This can't be real...! As if trying to escape reality, I raced home. I thought that maybe this was all just a bad dream... ...All I remember is the look of pure fear on my parents' faces, and the Church's knights rushing towards me. "We didn't call the Knights here!" The desperation in my parents' voices made it seem like they were pleading for their lives. How truthful their words really were thought... was something I'd never get to find out... |

Following the sound of running water, I somehow make it to the river to quench my thirst. But...then I see my reflection in the water— my big horn and sharp claws. No...No...! I don't want to see them! Please...just disappear...! Why won't you disappear...?! With tears streaming down my face, I claw at my reflection in the water. But...not only could my claws not feel how cold the water was, no matter how roughly I treated them, they didn't even get a scratch on them. I thrash them against a boulder, but only the boulder breaks. Right now, I'm sure even a ferocious wolf would take one look at me and run... Ahh...I'm...no longer human. Someone...Anyone...
