Anti-SPD DPS and Buff Protector
Potpourri is an Amber soul witch that synergizes well with other Amber DPSs. She targets enemies with the highest SPD with her two active skills and gives herself ACC buffs called Spoken Charm
. If she manages to stack at least three of these buffs, her skills deal more damage.
Meanwhile, her second passive, The Magic of My Words
, grants the Buff Cover buff to all allies when battle starts. This protects whatever buffs they have from being dispelled or stolen, making her great to pair with characters that need to keep stacking buffs (such as Rustica, who also happens to be an Amber DPS).
Needs to Stack ATK, DEF, and P. DEF to Survive, Stuck With Amber Teams
However, Potpourri does have a few limitations. Though she has defensive buffs (the CRIT RES, DEF, and P. DEF buffs from her first passive and her 60% damage cut), some of these buffs are locked behind gear (for example, her CRIT RES buff rises from a mere 20% to 60% if you have her unique weapon at UR rarity).
These buffs also scale with her DEF, P. DEF stats, and CRIT RES stats, which can only be boosted by gear, runes, and raising her rarity (LR is the minimum if you intend to use her in PvP).
Another limitation Potpourri has is that putting her in mixed soul teams would be at least sub-optimal since she grants herself more Spoken Charm buffs with her first active skill if there are two or more Amber Soul allies in the team with her (two stacks instead of just one, so she gets to deal increased damage with her active skills faster). It would be best to put her in a majority Amber team with the likes of Rustica, Tama, and Summer Amleth.
Reliable DPS If You Play Amber Teams, Anti-Burst Teams
Potpourri is a strong addition to any Amber team, offering both increased damage and buff protection courtesy of Buff Cover. Even in a mixed team, she holds value thanks to her unique Buff Cover ability, though she takes time to reach her full potential. If that mixed team is built to withstand burst comps, Potpourri remains a dependable choice.

Stack Potpourri's ATK, PM. DEF Break, P. DEF, M. DEF, and HP
To take full advantage of Potpourri's kit, give her ATK (and DEX) runes to boost her ATK stat, PM. DEF Break runes to deal more damage, and ACC runes to capitalize on her Spoken Charm buff.
For defensive buffs, take advantage of her DEF and P. DEF buffs by giving her P. DEF runes (and maybe M. DEF runes too). The two other runes you can put on her are CRIT RES runes (to give her CRIT RES buff a higher base to scale off of) and HP runes.

In this team, Potpourri and Rustica deal damage (with Rustica pulling double-duty as Potpourri's protector with her Shield, assuming Potpourri gets the most buffs).
Tama also gives Potpourri buffs as well as a shield, Summer Amleth acts as a debuffer and tank, and Uniform A.A. is here to give shields to the three witches with the highest ATK (which should be Rustica, Potpourri, and probably Summer Amleth).
