To My Dear Lord

For I am not in the Gilsanian Empire, or even on the continent of Centrea...I am in another world.

Liselotte, separated from her world and her lord, finds herself in a strange new land called Fran, known for its beautiful flowers. A single lilac blooming there, reminiscent of her home, sparks a flicker of hope for her eventual return. This new world, though fantastical, shares disturbing similarities to her own. Monsters called Mystical Beasts and ostracized witches with uncontrollable powers mirror the threats Liselotte faced back home.

Chapter 1
To you, my dear lord. How have you been? I hope all is well with Nadia, Sasha, and Chilki. As your secretary, I sincerely apologize for not being able to be by your side at the moment. You must be fraught with worry by my sudden disappearance, but I assure you that I am safe, so please put your mind at ease. Currently, I am under the care of the Duke of Fran. Fran. It must be your first time hearing of a country by such a name. But that is only to be expected, I suppose. For I am not in the Gilsanian Empire, or even on the continent of Centrea... I am in another world.

Chapter 1

To you, my dear lord.
How have you been?
I hope all is well with
Nadia, Sasha, and Chilki.

As your secretary,
I sincerely apologize for
not being able to be by
your side at the moment.
You must be fraught with worry
by my sudden disappearance,
but I assure you that I am safe,
so please put your mind at ease.

Currently, I am under the care
of the Duke of Fran.
Fran. It must be your first time
hearing of a country by such a name.
But that is only to be expected, I suppose.
For I am not in the Gilsanian Empire,
or even on the continent of Centrea...

Chapter 2
Another world. It must seem like a place so far away from ours. Farther even than the stars in the sky. I thought so too at first. But, something happened that changed my perception. Fran is known as the country of flowers. Just as its reputation suggests; it is home to a wide variety of them. I even came across one identical to the lilacs you were growing in your garden. It was blooming all over this land. Their light purple bells blowing in the wind gave off a gentle, sweet scent. It reminded me so much of home. I felt as though I was back at your mansion, my lord... For a brief moment, my heart felt so full. And while I have no proof, I strangely started to think... That I will be able to return to our world someday... back to your side, my lord.

Chapter 2

Another world. It must seem like
a place so far away from ours.
Farther even than the stars in the sky.

I thought so too at first.
But, something happened
that changed my perception.

Fran is known as the country of flowers.
Just as its reputation suggests;
it is home to a wide variety of them.
I even came across one identical to
the lilacs you were growing in your garden.
It was blooming all over this land.

Their light purple bells blowing in the wind
gave off a gentle, sweet scent.
It reminded me so much of home.
I felt as though I was back
at your mansion, my lord...
For a brief moment, my heart felt so full.

And while I have no proof,
I strangely started to think...

Chapter 3
There are other similarities I've noticed between this world and ours. "Giant monsters wreak calamity across the land. Those who cross their paths can only wish they are in a dream." "They are disasters wrought by the heavens and given shape. The people call them Mystical Beasts." Mystical Beasts—the name of the creatures feared back in our world. Just like how Mystical Beasts were feared in our world, witches are feared in this one. Hearing the word "witch" probably brings to mind our Nadia, who can use a variety of magic. However, since this world does not have magic like the one found in ours, witches are seen as abominations. The girls in this world are no different from us. They just so happen to have slightly extraordinary powers. But the existence of those powers has led to the girls being blamed for causing the calamity called "Curses"... leading to them being persecuted.

Chapter 3

There are other similarities
I've noticed between this world and ours.

"Giant monsters wreak

Just like how Mystical Beasts
were feared in our world,
witches are feared in this one.

Hearing the word "witch" probably
brings to mind our Nadia,
who can use a variety of magic.

However, since this world does not
have magic like the one found in ours,
witches are seen as abominations.

The girls in this world
are no different from us.
They just so happen to have
slightly extraordinary powers.

But the existence of those powers
has led to the girls being blamed for
causing the calamity called "Curses"...
leading to them being persecuted.

Chapter 4
The witches who were saved by the Duke of Fran also live in his mansion. There is Illya, a girl as bright as the sun, who treats everyone with kindness. Then there is Iris, the caring attendant to the Duke, who is just as strict with others as she is with herself. Rosalie, who is known as the Great Sorceress, may look young, but has lived for hundreds of years. Natasha tends to keep to herself, but she loves flowers more than anyone. By simply hearing about everyone's personalities, it is difficult to see them as terrifying creatures, is it not? Girls called the Witches of Qlipha are sent out of control by some outside force, spreading the Curses against their own will. Seeing a witch in that state gave me a sense of déjà vu. our land around the continent of Centrea...

This world feels almost like
a mirror image of our own.

Perhaps because of that,
I feel that I simply cannot turn
a blind eye to what is happening here.
That may even be the reason
I ended up in this world in the first place.

No... Perhaps there is no
rhyme or reason to me being here at all.
Whether it was meant to be or not,
I want to be of use to everyone in this world.

Chapter 6
I've been thinking of your kindness, my lord. If you could see what was happening in this world, I have no doubt you would jump to their aid. As your secretary, I cannot possibly turn my back on them either. Doing so would be the same as losing the right to call myself your secretary. For the sake of repaying all those who have taken me under their wing here... For the sake of bringing this world even a little closer to a brighter future... And more than anything, for the sake of continuing as your prided secretary... I want to do everything I can for this world.

Login 2	Ah, you have returned. Everyone was worried sick over you. Do be sure to let everyone know you are safe and sound.
Home 1	Thanks to all you have done for me, I am able to live here without feeling lost anymore. But, I would not feel right relying on you for everything, so please, do not hesitate to tell me if there is anything I can do to assist you.
Home 2	I shall be holding a small tea party with everyone after this. Would you like to join us? There will even be a banana cake I made at Matilda's request.
Home 3	These little ones are called Cucorn. They are a common fairy back in my world. Do you not have such creatures here? Hmmm...I see... So while there are creatures who were born from the Curse, none are native to these lands. Hehe, then I suppose that makes these Cucorn the first of their kind in this world.
Home 4	I blended an herbal tea with Iris earlier which is supposed to relieve fatigue. I was just about to brew some, so why don't you try a cup? I know how busy you muse be, but taking some time for yourself is important too.
Home 5	I may not belong to this world, but I believe that is no excuse to avoid getting involved in what is happening here. I am sure the lord I serve back home would have made the same decision were he in my shoes.
Home 6	I heard it is your birthday. Happy birthday, Your Grace. I hope the coming days bring you even better tidings.
Home 7	Just like you are doing now, I, too, have had to rebuild my homeland together with the lord i serve. Our nation was burned to ashes by a being called a Mystical Beast, destroying everything we held dear. Perhaps that is the reason why... I cannot ignore what is happening in this world.
Home 8	When I was first transported to this world, my mind was in a whirl from how different everything seemed. But after staying here for some time, I've started to noticed some similarities. Like the color of the sky... the types of flowers that bloom.. and may other things, too. Perhaps this means that.. this world is not so far away from my own after all.
Home 9	The other day when I put some ice cream on top of a slice of lemon cake and served it to Illya, she was thrilled. That combination... was one I came up with while thinking of my dear friend Sasha's homeland... so I was very happy Illya took such a liking to it.
Home 10	Natasha gave me a small bouquet of flowers the other day. I was thinking coating some of the petals in sugar to give to her as thanks... Do you think she would like that?
Home 11	In my world, there is also someone who is called a witch. Her name is Nadia and she is someone we can always count on. It may be difficult to change people's impression of witches here right away, but I do hope that someday the witches in theis world can be viewed the same way that Nadia is by the people.
Home 12	Your never leave a person in need alone even if it puts your life in danger... It is a quality of yours that reminds me of the lord I serve in my world. That is why just like my lord did for all of us, I know you can save this world from the Curse, Your Grace.
