A cute, puppy-like girl who is always wagging her tail for attention. She is very dependent on her older sister, Fenrir, and never leaves her side. Cerberus believed that she had killed Fenrir, succumbing to despair and turning into a Witch of Qlipha.

Cerberus and Fenrir

Cerberus and I were abandoned on that mountain when we were kids. They called us disgusting for being witches...

Cerberus was a child abandoned in the thunderous mountains of the Lupus Confederacy with her older sister, Fenrir. Despite their predicament, they fared well due to Fenrir's efforts. They spent quiet days up in the mountains for a long time, relying on each other for emotional support.

Then, one fateful night, cursed monsters flooded up the mountain. To protect Cerberus, Fenrir stood with trembling knees against the creatures she had no hope against. Alas, the inevitable happened, and Fenrir was pinned to the ground. And as the jaws of death closed in on her, Cerberus screamed in anguish—

Causing the sky to pound the mountain with lightning.

When she came to, Cerberus found that the ground had been scorched black with lightning. The monsters had disappeared, but so had her sister. Desperately, she looked for Fenrir until she came across a round, blackened stone resembling the gift she had given. Beside that stone was a lump of charred coal.

Believing that she had killed her beloved sister, Cerberus awakened as a Witch of Qlipha. Her tortured cries and anguished tears manifested as lightning, which pelted the ground like rain.

However, unbeknownst to her, Fenrir was still alive. But Fenrir could not come to Cerberus' aid immediately, as the torrential lightning blocked her way as if shielding her sister's heart. So, instead, Fenrir sought the assistance of the one rumored to be traveling the world to lift the curses.

Eventually, Fenrir pulled Cerberus out of the terrible, lonely nightmare, and they went on to live in the Duke's territory.

Cerberus Personality

Cerberus is an energetic girl who maintains an innocent, childish wonder. Her inquisitiveness makes her see even the most mundane things as exciting curiosities. As such, her actions may come off as those of a girl who's always eager to please, a point reinforced by her love of getting her head patted.

In fact, she resembles a puppy in many ways, a trait she shares with her worrywart sister Fenrir, much to the latter's consternation.

However, behind Cerberus' bright smile and intrepid nature is a deep-seated fear of losing her loved ones, especially Fenrir. Cerberus' unconstrained behavior may be a manifestation of that fear. That is, since she is afriad that she will one day wake up alone, she tries to put herself into everybody's life as a way to validate their existence in the present.

Cerberus Memories

Chapter 1
When we were younger, Big Sis and I were abandoned on top of a mountain. There, thunder and lightning were always crashing down. I got scared and tried to run away from the noise, but before I knew it, I had ended up all alone. The mountain's too dark to see anything at night, and the thunder's so loud I can't hear Big Sis's voice. At this rate... she'll never find me. I'll never see Big Sis again...! I started crying, but before I knew it, there she was—somehow Big Sis had found me. "It's okay, Cerberus. Big Sis is here," she said, wrapping her warm arms around me. The thunder and lightning were still crashing down, but my tears had stopped. And it's all because I have the best big sis in the whole world.

Chapter 1

When we were younger,
Big Sis and I were abandoned

There, thunder and lightning were
always crashing down.
I got scared and tried to run away
from the noise, but before I knew it,
I had ended up all alone.

The mountain's too dark to

there she was—somehow Big Sis had
found me.

"It's okay, Cerberus. Big Sis is here," she said,
wrapping her warm arms around me.

The thunder and lightning were still
crashing down, but my tears had stopped.
And it's all because I have the best big sis
in the whole world.

Chapter 2
I had a dream—a really scary dream where Big Sis wasn't here anymore. When I woke up, the first thing I did was quickly nuzzle up against her. Thank goodness... She's here. Don't ever leave me alone, okay Big Sis...? ...Huh? A good luck charm... For me? With this, you'll always be here with me, so you'll save me if I have a bad dream? You're so nice, Big Sis. I love you. Oh, I know! This pretty rock here is really precious to me, but you can have it! Now, I'll always be with you, too, Big Sis! If you have a bad dream, I'll save you, too! The two of us are gonna be together forever! But, my nightmare became reality. Big Sis...wasn't here anymore.

Chapter 2

I had a dream—a really scary dream
where Big Sis wasn't here anymore.

When I woke up, the first thing I did
was quickly nuzzle up against her.

Thank goodness... She's here.
Don't ever leave me alone, okay Big Sis...?

...Huh? A good luck charm... For me?
With this, you'll always be here with me,
so you'll save me if I have a bad dream?

You're so nice, Big Sis. I love you.
Oh, I know! This pretty rock here is really
precious to me, but you can have it!

Now, I'll always be with you, too, Big Sis!
If you have a bad dream, I'll save you, too!
The two of us are gonna be together forever!

But, my nightmare became reality.
Big Sis...wasn't here anymore.

Chapter 3
Red eyes float in the darkness. The creatures attacked us suddenly one night. They came at us with their sharp claws and big fangs, but Big Sis stood her ground in front of me. Everything happened in slow motion— the hungry creatures... they pounced on... No... Big Sis...! NOOOOO!! Something inside me exploded, and an array of lightning bolts crashed down. Wh-What was that...? I-I've never used that kind of power before... Huh...? Big Sis? Big Sis, where are you?! I can't find her anywhere... All I see around me is the burnt ground. I-I'm sure the lightning just made her fall off the cliff. Yeah, that's it. I quickly climbed down the cliff, but what I saw there was...

Chapter 3

Big Sis? Where are you?! Please, say something! Ohh... Th-That thing's... been burnt by lightning... N-No. That's not Big Sis. That's gotta be a creature. But then, where's...Big Sis? There's only one dead body here, and it's been struck by lightning... ...No. No no no!! There's no way... That can't be her! There's no way that I... that I...! S-See, there's no way that these pieces of coal are...! Huh? This rock... It's round...and pretty... It looks just like my good luck charm... ...No. I... killed... Big Sis...? I...killed... NOOOOO!!

Chapter 4

Big Sis? Where are you?!
Please, say something!
Ohh... Th-That thing's...
been burnt by lightning...

N-No. That's not Big Sis.
That's gotta be a creature.

But then, where's...Big Sis?
There's only one dead body here,
and it's been struck by lightning...

...No. No no no!!
There's no way... That can't be her!
There's no way that I... that I...!
S-See, there's no way that
these pieces of coal are...!

Huh? This rock... It's round...and pretty...
It looks just like my good luck charm...

...No. I... killed... Big Sis...?
I...killed... NOOOOO!!

Chapter 5
I had a dream—a really scary dream where Big Sis wasn't here anymore. When I frantically opened my eyes, I saw Big Sis smiling at me. "It's okay. I'm not going anywhere." Thank goodness. It really was all just a dream. But when I went to nuzzle up to Big Sis, her body was struck by lightning. Her scorched black arm grabs mine. "Why...?" she asks... N-No, it's not what it looks like... I-I wanted to save you... but this strange power poured outta me, and... Before I knew it, I was all alone in my dream. No. This isn't a dream. This is reality. 'Cause I... I killed her!!

Chapter 5

where Big Sis wasn't here anymore.

When I frantically opened my eyes,
I saw Big Sis smiling at me.

"It's okay. I'm not going anywhere."

Thank goodness. It really was all just a dream.
But when I went to nuzzle up to Big Sis,

"Why...?" she asks...

N-No, it's not what it looks like...
I-I wanted to save you...
but this strange power
poured outta me, and...

Before I knew it, I was all alone in my dream.

I hear thunder. That horrible sound resonating in my pitch black heart. But all of a sudden, a warm light appeared. "It's okay, Cerberus. Big Sis is here now." Huh...? No... You're lying... There's no way Big Sis is here... 'Cause...I killed her! Please... Stop... Don't make me suffer anymore... H-Huh...? That... light... It's... Big Sis's good luck charm— the one she promised would mean that she was always with me... That...she would save me from my bad dreams... ... I'm right here, Big Sis. I...want to see you again... As I wrapped my arms around the light, I hear a voice. It repeated those special magic words— the ones that have always protected me. "It's okay, Cerberus. Big Sis is here." I can't hear the thunder anymore. A warm light... slowly makes its way into my heart.

Chapter 6

But, I guess at some point I must've gotten separated from Big Sis. I'm not gonna cry though, 'cause, see? Big Sis is right here. She held my hand so that I wouldn't get lost anymore. Big Sis's hand is so warm... As we walked home into the sunset, our two shadows walked side by side behind us. Even our shadows are best friends, huh Big Sis? Oh look, there's Master! He came to get us! Come on, Big Sis, let's go! You, me, and Master— let's all go home together!

Chapter 7

Today, Big Sis and I are
going shopping together.

There's so many cool things to see in town.
But, I guess at some point I must've
gotten separated from Big Sis.

our two shadows walked
