Carol's a versatile unit you can put into most teams if you want to buff their defense (Torn Page), and deprive the enemy of their own buffs (Scales of Oblivion). She can also cast the Silence debuff on enemies, preventing them from using what could otherwise be powerful skills.

Has Good Sustain Through Self-Heals

Memento

Carol can sustain herself quite fine with her Memento passive skill. Whenever she or an ally gets attacked, the skill restores up to 7% of the HP she lost.

Carol Best Runes

Give Carol ACC, Debuff ACC, HP, and CRIT RES Runes

Carol won't be dealing the main damage in your party, so she'll be fine with MAG, ATK, AC, and Debuff ACC offensive runes. However if you want her to inflict Silence as soon as possible, then you could give her spare SPD runes instead of ATK. For defensive runes, give her EVD, CRIT RES, Debuff RES, and HP runes.

Carol is versatile enough to stick in most teams, but if you want a team that can withstand damage and somehow win against more powerful opponents, she can be a good unit to pair with the likes of Florence and Soltina.

Her Scales of Oblivion skill can debuff a target's DEF by 40% if they're not buffed, which opens them up to more damage from Florence. Soltina meanwhile can soak up good amounts of damage, which can keep healing Carol.

Skill Effect

Level 1 (Unlocks by default) Anyone who touches the wings of the butterflies fluttering around Carol will briefly lose their memories. Deals 1 magical attack equal to 490% of Carol’s ATK to 2 random enemies, and has a 20% chance to inflict ［Silence］on all targets for 1 turn. Level 2 (Unlocks by level 81) The magical attack’s damage becomes equal to 540% of her ATK. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 161) The targets of this skill become 3 random enemies.

Skill Effect

Level 1 (Unlocks by level 11) Using her butterflies and their memory-stealing scales, Carol dispels 2 buffs from 3 random enemies. She strikes as the enemies stagger, dealing 1 magical attack equal to 410% of her ATK to all targets. Level 2 (Unlocks by level 21) The magical attack’s damage becomes equal to 480% of her ATK. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 101) Additionally, before dispelling buffs, if a target is not enhanced with a buff, decreases that target’s DEF by 40% for 2 turns. Level 4 (Unlocks by level 181) The targets of this skill become 5 random enemies.

Skill Effect

Level 1 (Unlocks by level 41) Carol will lose her memories before long, so she won’t forgive any enemy who hurts the friends she can remember now. Those feelings become her power to fight against her fate. When an ally is attacked or when they evade an attack, this skill restores HP equal to 3% of the total HP Carol is currently missing to her. Level 2 (Unlocks by level 121) The amount Carol’s HP is restored by becomes equal to 5% of the total HP she is currently missing. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 201) The amount Carol’s HP is restored by becomes equal to 7% of the total HP she is currently missing.
