The Higher Her HP, the Higher Her ATK

Valeriede is an attacker whose trick is to boost her ATK depending on how much HP she still has.

She can boost her ATK up to 70% with her skill, Fervent Blaze. Afterward, her two other skills (Explosive Nemesis and Fire Dragon's Wail) both dish out damage while sustaining her HP and executing enemies. Fire Dragon's Wail in particular targets the lowest HP, and if Valeriede manages to defeat that enemy, she then attacks the rest of the party.

Regenerates Health When She's Below 40% HP

At the start of each turn, if her remaining HP percentage is 90% or higher, this skill is dispelled.
	Level 2 (Unlocks by level 141) The amount［Regeneration］restores Valeriede’s HP by becomes equal to 20% of her max HP.
	Level 3 (Unlocks by level 221) The decrease in damage she takes becomes 10%.

Valeriede's passive, Witch of Conflagration, restores her HP through Regeneration if it falls below 40%. Though in PvE it would be better if you had another unit that could keep her alive in the late game with Shield or Multi-barrier buffs.

Give Valeriede SPD, ATK, CRIT RES, and HP Runes

For offensive runes, if you can spare the PM. DEF Break runes, give those to Valeriede along with ATK, CRIT, and SPD to compensate for her low SPD. For defensive runes, you'll want her to have CRIT RES, HP, EVD, and Debuff RES runes.

Valeriede is an expensive character to build, so she'll most likely be the only Chaos unit you'll be fielding. Assuming that you're willing to invest in her heavily, you can have her as your main attacker supported by Merlyn and Mertillier. Soltina will provide debuffs, while Olivia will provide Shield and ATK buffs.
