A girl with a bright smile who loves saying, “Maximum smileage!” She creates a second personality—her other self
—to escape reality and preserve her mental stability. However, Charlotte is merely acting as two characters, and is fully aware that her other self does not truly exist.

Charlotte Story
An Angry Alter Ego
I'm all she has, just as she's all I have.- Charlotte
Within the young Charlotte is another version of herself, who despite her violent tendencies, is actually "super sweet" according to Charlotte. The two are inseperable and only have each other. The other Charlotte tends to be quite crazy, and flips out over the things she doesn't like.
When her alter ego gets heated, the Charlotte in charge eats snacks to pacify her as the two absolutely love having snacks. Charlotte's alter ego is very sensitive to what other people say about her, so whenever she hears anyone call her a witch, she goes on a rampage and thrashes the entire city.
As a preventive measure, Charlotte cast a spell on herself, which makes it so that she always has a big smile on her face. She calls the spell her "happy mask" and her philosophy is that if she's smiling like that, the other Charlotte should be able to keep her anger in check.

Charlotte has been known to be a witch, so the Knights have been actively looking for her. A Knight spotted Charlotte one time, and Charlotte tried to get away to avoid trouble. Unfortunately, this Knight made the terrible decision to stomp on the snacks Charlotte likes, which angered her alter ego. The othe Charlotte completely took over, leaving the one usually in charge in the dark.
She regained her consciousness to a ruined city around her. "Hehe...Ahh, it happened again." she said nonchalantly, almost as if it were a regular "oopsie" moment.
On a different day, the other Charlotte went on a rampage again. To her surprise, when the regular Charlotte regained consciousness, the Duke of Fran consoled her and offered to let her stay at her estate, where she's with her kind and where she doesn't have to wear her happy mask. Charlotte quickly accepted.
Charlotte Personality
Charlotte seems to suffer from Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD). Her usual self is a cheerful girl while her other personality is aggressive and very easily angered. The two love to eat snacks, and care about each other, despite being stuck in one body. It is said that Charlotte is only acting as two characters, but she often seems like she wholeheartedly believes that there are two personalities within her.

Interactions With Other Characters
- Mentioned in Yuni’s 4 Awakening voice line. In this voice line, Yuni is trying to stop Charlotte from eating a bar of soap, which Charlotte though was a macaron.

She's kinda crazy, flipping out over things she doesn't like. But she loves snacks—just like me. So, when it looks like she's about to lose it, I start snacking. | The other Charlotte's violent, but she's actually super sweet. Whenever I get hurt, she always throws a fit and stands up for me. But, it looks like people are scared of her... Every time she comes out, everyone runs away, screaming, "Witch!" I gotta protect her. She's pretty sensitive about how people feel about her, and it doesn't take much provoking for her to blow up... So, I cast a spell. This spell gives me a magic smile... A happy person always beams with joy. So, as long as I'm smiling, I'm sure she'll keep her anger in check. That's why I decided to cast this magic spell... and wear this "happy mask." |

| I can't let anyone else know about her. I'm sure they'll just be like Mommy and Daddy and call me a "crazy kid." If they said that, she'll come out again. That's why I hid her away underneath my happy mask. Hiding things is my specialty. No one needs to know the truth except for me. She's here for me, and I'm here for her... We don't need anyone else! If I can bury everything underneath this happy mask, then no one... will ever know the truth. |

| The other Charlotte's a witch, so the Knights of Longinus have always been after her. Everyone hates witches, after all. That's why I hid her underneath my happy mask, keeping her safe from the Church this whole time. Then one day, just like any other day, a knight found me walking through town, so I tried to run away. But this knight took the snacks that I— that she loves, and trampled on them, crushing them into hundreds of pieces. The shock of seeing her favorite snacks ruined caused her to snap. She cracked my happy mask wide open and broke free...taking control of my body. |

| When I came to, everything around me was in shambles, like someone had gone on a rampage... Hehe...Ahh, it happened again. It put my happy mask on to cover myself up from anyone who'd look at me in fear. "Maximum smileage. Happiness in full bloom. Smiles are happy magic." I changed those magic words again and again. Whenever I do, she—I can rest a bit easier. It's okay—I have her, and she has me. We aren't alone. We're witches, but we're in this together. We won't be unhappy... We're not unhappy... |

| Something made the other Charlotte go on a rampage again. But, that day was different. A man with a staff cheered me up, saying, "It must have been tough being all alone." Alone? What are you talking about? She's with me...Oh, I see. He's got me all figured out. He knew exactly what was hidden under my happy mask... Having learned everything, he held his hand out to me and said, "Come with me." "What'cha think?" I asked my other self. But I already had my answer— I'm...gonna trust him. If this ends up being some kind of trick, I'll just hide myself again. So I prayed this man wouldn't betray me, and took his hand, hoping I could finally say goodbye to my happy mask. |
