A girl who used to work at an inn for pilgrims. She apparently once lived in a village full of witches, but left to look for work. Theodora has a bad habit of keeping her feelings to herself, and tends to be very indecisive.

I want to save them, but what should I do?- Theodora
Theodora spent her childhood with her two sisters, who became her best friends. The trio had an unbreakable bond, even as they grew older. One day, Theodora left their village to look for work.
Even when they were separated, the three kept in touch by sending each other letters. Until one day, Theodora received a letter from her younger sister. The letter states that the Knights have captured their older sister, even though it's the younger sister who's a witch.
Theodora wanted to save them, but was too scared and indecisive to act. In the end, she did nothing and kept the letter in her closet, pretending it was never opened and read to begin with.

Despite Theodora's inaction, her siblings ended up fine thanks to the Duke of Fran. She's very thankful that they're alive, but she wallows in regret over her passivity.
One day, Theodora received a letter. She knew who it's from, but was too embarassed and ashamed to even read it. This went on for some time until, after so long, she finally opened it. She couldn't hold back her tears upon finding out that her sister wrote to invite her to catch up over tea. She was very happy, but also very sorry that it had to be her sister who broke the ice.
Theodora is a girl who gives in to her anxiety and fears, and ends up being indecisive and passive, even when the stakes are high. She cares deeply about her two sisters, but was too big a coward to do anything to help them.

| Growing up, I had a pair of sisters as my childhood friends. The three of us were the best of friends, and as we grew up, that never changed. Even after I left the village for work, I continued to exchange letters with them frequently. ...Until that letter arrived. |

| One day, I received a letter from the younger sister. I was thrilled to receive another letter from my best friend, but the moment I started reading, my face froze. The letter said that the Church had captured her older sister...for being a Witch. "I'm the one that's the witch, so why is Big Sis the one that has to be captured?" So said the letter, but I knew why. For that was the choice the older sister made to save her younger sister. And that choice now left the younger sister alone and in despair. |

| I want to save them, but what should I do? There was only one thing I could do— go to the Church and testify to her not being a witch. But, there's a chance I'll be labelled as an accomplice and get arrested, too. The inquisitor there is known for using cruel torture methods. If I'm caught, I might be... I kept hesitating...and hesitating... And in the end, I locked the letter away in my closet and pretended that I had never read it. While I closed my eyes and lost myself in hesitation, you saved my best friends. ...I feel ashamed for running away. My lord...I want to become someone like you. Someone who, no matter the danger, can risk their life for those who are important to them. Who are those two? Well...until I manage to apologize to them... it's a secret. |

Did she get impatient with me since I've been running away from her plea for help for so long? I'm happy for the letter...but I can't open it... Not with the way I am right now. Because if I open up the letter, they'll be able to see just how weak and ugly I really am. |

| Those two are kind, so I'm sure they'd forgive me. Actually...if I dodge their questions well, I can probably cover up all my faults. But if I do that, I'll really never be able to face those two. So I looked away from the letter— from her gaze... I know that all this is meaningless. Because looking away and locking up my emotions can't make things disappear. |

| Life is a series of choices. Even if you can put a problem off momentarily, you can't run away from it forever. So after much hesitation, I made my decision. With shaking hands, I opened the letter. My eyes were greeted with a handwriting that I was all too familiar with. "I'm so happy to see you again. Would you like to have some tea together? Of course, my sister will be there, too." I couldn't read the rest as my eyes were brimming with tears. I was so happy...but...also so sorry that she had to be the one to break the ice. At this rate, it'll just be a repeat of before. I need to have courage... to face her...and myself. I'm going to see them—my best friends. |
