Should You Pull for Apostle Rosalie?
Reliable Protector and Skill Accelerator for PvP
Apostle Rosalie is a Radiance support unit that can protect your main DPS carries and shorten their skill cooldowns. Her Force Field (the thing that protects her allies) scales off her HP (it cuts damage equal to 20% of her HP; 50% if she has her unique weapon at UR rarity).
If she has a big enough HP pool, she can help her allies shrug off attacks in the first two turns of battle (preventing a total party kill via burst comps). Once she stacks enough of her special buff, Memory
, she'll be able to shorten the skill cooldowns of the allies next to her by 2 turns.
Needs Multiple Copies to Have Decent HP
However, Apostle Rosalie's HP scaling also means that she will need significant investment to get her HP to a high enough amount that her Force Field can truly help her allies shrug off most damage from an enemy attack. This means getting enough copies of her to get her to LR Rarity similar to any DPS you intend to use for PvP. This also means she will need gear that can boost STA (for HP) like Michael or Metatron Gear, as well as STA or HP Runes.
Pull if You Like Her Story
Rosalie, longing to see her long-lost master again after 200 years, makes a deal with an angel. Rosalie gains new power by absorbing an angel's living nature and finding a newfound hope. She is granted the ability to enact a miracle, but only she knows what must be given up in exchange.
When Not to Pull for Apostle Rosalie
If You Can't Get More Copies/Give Her Good Gear
If you are at a stage in the game where you are still struggling to equip your main DPS carry with the best gear around, getting Apostle Rosalie won't be a good idea because of her own investment requirements.
You Already Have Witches That Can Protect Allies
Witches like Tainted Iris or witches that can grant Multi-Barriers or Shields (like Uniform A.A.) do a similar thing to Apostle Rosalie. If you already have them and don't need a new Radiance witch for any reason in particular, then you may want to reconsider getting Apostle Rosalie.
If You Only Play PvE
Apostle Rosalie's Force Field scales off her own HP. In PvE modes like the Main Quest, you are up against very overpowered foes that are likely to hit so hard that Rosalie's Force Field will not be enough to save you. If you play only PvE (especially the Main Quest) most of the time, a character like her will not be able to help much aside from her cooldown acceleration.
