Should You Pull for Eir?
Yes, Pull for Her
Eir is a strong debuffer. You can position anywhere in your team to deal with main attackers or tanks. She can decrease the enemy's chance to resist a critical hit and inflict them with [Sleep], preventing them from being able to attack, counted as one debuff. Aside from that, she had [Bleed], which deals with continuous damage to the target. She also has a [Shield] equal to 500% of her ATK if no enemies are afflicted with her action-hindering buffs at the start of each turn.
She is an excellent addition to any team that needs at least one debuffer. Since she casts her debuff on the enemy directly in front of her, she also gives you control over which enemy she will provide her debuffs to.
Eir Builds: Best Runes and Team Comps
Get Multiple Copies
While her debuffs and protective options are already available with just one copy, you are better off getting multiple copies of her, at least for SSR, so that her Hunter's Integrity skill gives her a [Shield]. Ramp her up to LR to get the full potential of her abilities and Unique Weapon, which increases the targets and number of turns for the [Bleed] debuff and improves attack damage.
Pull if You Need A Debuffer
If you don't have access to other debuffer witches, Eir is a good choice to have as your debuffer witch. Her debuffs are plentiful and come often, so she will give good support to your other units while being able to hold her ground with her Shields. She can be good to use in PvP content.
Pull if You Like Her Story
Eir's life is shattered when the Inquisition attacks, killing her grandfather and capturing her sister. Eir becomes a witch hunter to save her sister, killing six innocent witches. However, she later learns her sister was likely dead all along, and the letters she received were lies. Devastated, Eir kills the Inquisitor and spares a young witch, vowing to protect her and dismantle the Inquisition. Haunted by her actions, Eir seeks redemption while protecting the orphaned girl.
The young witch was later revealed as Minasumari.
When Not To Pull for Eir
If You Already Have Many Debuffers
If you already have many debuffer witches, like Lunalynn, Soltina, or other witches that can inflict Sleep or Faint and other action-deterring debuffs, it would be best to skip Eir.
If You're A Beginner
Beginners should skip Eir and focus on getting units that can help them push the Main Quest progress forward.
