If you go Death Caller spec, when you hit level 40 you can unlock both "Invigorating Beam" and "Mortalitasi" which allow you to infinitely spam the weak Ranged attack and effectively never die so long as you're dealing damage. However, you'd need to swap over to the "Shadowbreath" staff in any situation where you are fighting 2 or fewer enemies due to this weapon only dealing acceptable damage against packs of enemies.

Mage here. Got "Archon's Gaze" from the end chest. Unique Elemental Stave/Staff, Electric damage, and a special effect "Ranged attacks with this weapon now hit up too 3 enemies". This ability allows the Stave/Staff Ranged attack damage to compete with the basic Light attack of the Stave/Staff so long as there are at least three targets. The damage was 300 and stagger was 75 when I acquired it and my main Stave/Staff was 385 damage and 220 stagger at that point. Sadly, the reward is pretty bad.
