How to Get Abyss Cells
Farm Bismuth Oreback Crabs in Drakefall Castle

| 1 |  Head to Drakesfall Castle, located northeast of Hernand. There is also an Abyss Nexus nearby that you can activate to allow fast travel to Drakesfall Castle for farming Abyss Cells. |
| 2 |  Go to the center of Drakesfall Castle to find Bismuth. There will also be some on the ground, but these are Bismuth Oreback Crabs that drop Abyss Cells when killed. |
| 3 | The best way to deal with Bismuth Oreback Crabs is to use Turning Slash while they’re immobile to remove the Bismuth from their backs, allowing you to continue attacking them without taking damage from touching Bismuth. Make sure to bring food to recover health, since it's unavoidable to get damaged from Bismuth. |
| 4 | Kill all groups in the area except one to allow the Bismuth Oreback Crabs to respawn when you fast travel to a nearby Abyss Nexus. Teleport and return to the center of Drakesfall Castle and repeat the steps to farm Abyss Cells. |
Dropped by Wandershrubs
Abyss Cells are sometimes dropped by a variant of Wandershrubs that have spiky stones embedded in their bodies. Defeat them for a chance to obtain Abyss Cells.

Used in Abyss Core Crafting
Abyss Cells are materials required to craft Abyss Cores. Speak with Elowen the Witch in Hernand and select Craft Abyss Cores to view the list of available cores you can create. You’ll also see the required materials listed beside each one, along with the quantities needed.
