How to Unlock Focused Force Palm

Obtained While Going to Scholastone During Chapter 4

In the latter half of Chapter 4, Alustin will tell Kliff to go to Scholastone. While on the way to the academy, you'll find that the road leading from Fort Perwin to Kharonso is blocked.

To get through, look for the shadowy figure standing in front of the blocked road and observe them to learn Focused Force Palm.

Chapter 4 Walkthrough

Can be Missed if You Fast Travel to Scholastone Directly

Unfortunately, the intended method of reaching Scholastone was supposed to be on horseback. However, if you've explored enough of Hernand during earlier segments of the main story then you'll likely have fast traveled to Scholastone instead, causing you to miss out on this skill.

If you missed getting this in Chapter 4, you can still go back to the exact spot in order to learn this skill for Kliff.

How to Use Focused Force Palm

Let the Leaf Symbol Reach the Core Before Releasing

To use Focused Force Palm, enter into Focus mode. While in Focus mode, press and hold the Force Palm button to charge it. You'll know you're doing it right if a leaf symbol starts forming on your screen.

Wait for the leaf symbol to move forward and "reach" the core you want to hit. The core will glow gold once the leaf has reached it. Once the core glows gold, release the Force Palm button to channel the energy into it.
