1. Old Friend

1.1 Investigate the Back Alleys of Hernand
Talk to Marius
Go to the alleyway in the north of the City of Hernand, where you'll find Marius leaning on a wall. Talk to him to start a short dialogue.

2. First Step to Rebuilding

2.1 Speak with Marquis Serkis
Speak with the Marquis
After speaking with Marius, head south and go to Oakenshield Manor, the residence of Marquis Serkis. Speak to the servant outside, and he will let you in to speak with the Marquis.
2.2 Follow the Soldier
Follow the Soldier
Head outside Oakenshield Manor, where you'll find a soldier waiting. Follow the soldier on foot until you reach the horses nearby. Continue to follow him on horseback all the way to Howling Hill.
2.3 Speak with Marshal Middler
Speak with Marshal Middler
On Howling Hill, speak to Marshal Middler, and he will introduce you to Damiane. From this point on, Damiane will now be available as a playable character.

3. A Fresh Start

3.1 Move the Sacks
Move the sacks
In the Howling Hill camp, grab the sacks and place them on the marked area. You will need to move three sacks, and they have to be carried one at a time.
3.2 Drive in the Stakes
Drive in the Stakes
Grab the mallet from the table and use it to pound the stakes into the ground as part of setting up the tent.
3.3 Push the Wagon
Break the Rocks
Equip the pickaxe and use it to break the rocks beneath the tent. Push the wagon inside the tent afterward.
3.4 Raise the Banner
Raise the Banner
Lift the banner using the skill Nature's Grasp and place it on the stand.

4. Reward for Their Sweat

4.1 Check the Cooking Recipe
Check the cooking recipe
Grab the recipe on the table to learn the Clear Soup Recipe after organizing and making improvements in the camp.
4.2 Make Modest Clear Soup
Make Modest Clear Soup
Use the pot located at the camp to make two servings of Modest Clear Soup. You can find the necessary ingredients inside the camp on tables and in supply crates.

You can also swap ingredients if you don't have the default ingredients it needed.
4.3 Serve a Feast
Serve a feast
Once you have obtained two servings of Modest Clear Soup, approach the workers sitting in the camp to feed them. You will need to switch back to Kliff at this point of the story to progress.

5. Return of the Comrade

5.1 Escort Marius to Camp
Escort Marius to Camp
Speak with Marius in The Scrapfold and offer to escort him to the camp. Call your horse, ride it, and wait for Marius to hop on before going back to Howling Hill.

6. Familiar Curses

6.1 Investigate the House of Healing
You need to get inside the House of Healing to investigate it. There are three ways to get inside, and you can choose whichever method works for you.

1. Sneak through the Roof
2. Get a Disguise from a Guard
3. Purchase St. Halssius Visitor Pass
* Getting Through the Roof
Getting Through the Roof Part 1
Follow the road on the right facing the main entrance. Line up with the quest marker and go close to the marker by following the path inside the territory.
Getting Through the Roof Part 2
Pass through the alley until you are close to the main building. Climb through the roof of the main building, and enter through the open window. You should see a commotion with the patients once you get in.
* Using a Disguise to Pass Through
Bribing the Guard
Go to the right side of the main entrance and bribe the guard for getting a disguise that will let you go through the main entrance. He will give you the St. Halssius Priest Outfit for 10 Silver.

Once you pass through, head to the main building and look for a disturbance between the patients and the staff.
* Obtain St. Halssius Visitor Pass
Purchasing St. Halssius Visitor Pass
You can get a St. Halssius Visitor Pass by purchasing it from Aflred for 10 Silver. You can find Alfred inside Church of Hernand.

Once you get the pass, show it to the guards and wait for them to let you in.
6.2 Follow Yann
Follow Yann
Approach the patient struggling with the staff once inside and you will come across Yann, one of the Greymanes. Follow Yann until you reach the Nas River Fishing Dock.

・ Iron Ore x5
・ Large Bag x1
・ Clear Soup x10

Optional Rewards:
・ St. Halssius Priest Attire x1
・ St. Halssius Priest's Cloak x1
・ St. Halssius Priest's Leather Footwear x1
・ St. Halssius Priest's Hat x1

You can get the optional rewards if you purchase those items from the guard and use it as a disguise to enter the House of Healing. You can still purchase these clothes after you're done with the quest.
