Objectives

Victory Condition Defeat Condition
Defeat the Soldier, the Monk, and the Archer. The Cavalier is routed.
Main Objectives
1. Don't let the Soldier and their allies reach the Port Town Meeting Hall!
2. Defeat the Phlegethon "Officer" and claim victory!
Side Objectives
・ Protect the Pegasus Knights as they gather forces.

Walkthrough

Objectives

Allow 1-2 to escape
While you may wish to take on all 3 Main enemies, it is actually a more efficient strategy to allow about 1-2 of them to escape and order an All-Out Offensive on the closest enemy.
This means you can defeat the remaining enemies much quicker and can prepare for the side mission.
2 Note that by allowing the 1-2 to escape, they will bring reinforcements. This works well for you as you'll need to defeat at least 500 enemies to acquire an S rank.

Assist the Pegasus Riders
Optional, but recommended, you can assist the Pegasus riders who are being routed so that they can help you fight. Assign an adjutant to yourself and an ally and order an attack on enemies that are further away.
Having a healer here is handy to keep them alive.

Officer has arrived
Defeat any enemies surrounding the riders, and send a healer off to another group when needed. Once you've made quick work of these enemies, turn your attention to the Phlegethon Officer that's has likely spawned at this point.

Defeat the Officer
Rush forward to take care of the Officer and send at least one ally to defend the Cavalier. Defeat the Officer to finish the mission!
It's good to save some abilities for this fight to ensure that the Cavalier isn't routed.
