+Atk and -Def

Scion Julia's best IVs are +Atk and -Def. +Atk is a Superboon and boosts Julia's already high Atk stat even higher and maximizes damage output. Her Def is a dump stat and boosting it will not change most of her matchups, thus it is safe to take as a bane.

+Atk for a +10 Merge Project

If you want to build a +10 merged Scion Julia, we recommend a +Atk IV. Maximizing her Atk ensures that she kills her foes after one round of combat. Taking a +Spd IV is also worth if you are committing to a Spd build focus for Arena.

Scion Julia is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Scion Julia Strengths

High Atk stat

Scion Julia has a very high Atk stat sitting at base 42, and it is a superboon on top of that. Her Atk is among the highest in the game, and should be maximized in order to eliminate enemies quickly.

Multiple Passive Bonuses to Atk and Spd

Scion Julia comes with two ways to boost her Atk and Spd in her tome Luminous Grace+ and Atk/Spd Push 4. Together with her very high Atk stat and her above average Spd stat, she is well equipped to defeat enemies in one round of combat.

Furthermore, the recoil of Atk/Spd Push 4 is mitigated by the healing Luminous Grace+ provides, ensuring that both skills are active as much as possible!

Light and Dark is a Strong Debuff

Light and Dark neutralizes foe's bonuses from skills like Fortify, Rally etc and inflicts -2 to all stats. This skews combat in Julia's favor by reducing the foe's stats as well as preventing visible bonuses from taking effect!

Additionally, the skill also neutralizes effects that calculate damage using the lower defense stat of a unit whether it be Def or Res, allowing her to make use of her high Res stat to tank hits from dragons.

Scion Julia Weaknesses

Low Def stat

Scion Julia has a low Def stat, if she gets attacked by a strong physical attacker, there is a high chance that she will be taken out. Be mindful of Julia's positioning in relation to units that pose a threat to her. Pay extra attention to units that possess weapon like Ninja Yari+ as they can guarantee follow-up attacks regardless of Spd and they are sure to finish her off.

Weak to Bows

As a flying unit, Scion Julia takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep her out of the range of archers, and leave them to other units.
