When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
Ascended Florina's best IVs are +Spd and -Def. Her Spd is at a very high base 43 and a superboon will boost that up to 47. Increasing her Spd also improves the bonus damage dealt by New-Height Bow.
Spd is her best and most important stat and should be boosted as much as possible.
Her Def is lackluster and near unsalvageable despite the superboon. Thus, it is a safe bane to take.
Taking -HP as a bane is suggested if building the team around New-Height Bow by giving Ascended Florina multiple self-recoil skills, including Fury 3 in the Sacred Seal slot.
We recommend +Spd when merging Ascended Florina up to +10. Her Spd is key in achieving best results in combat.
As an Ascended Hero, you can ascend one of Florina's IVs for free. We recommend Atk if you have a +Spd Ascended Florina, or Spd if you have any other boon.

This build requires an unmerged Ascended Florina with a -HP bane and no other HP investment, including dragonflowers and blessing bonuses. With this setup, Ascended Florina gets into the 60% HP threshold for New-Height Bow after one round of combat due to Fury recoil damage.

With an improved Guidance effect tied to New-Height Bow, this frees up Ascended Florina's C slot for skills that improve combat utility while still retaining the improved mobility a flying unit provides.
Ascended Florina introduces S/D Far Trace 3 into the game. Trace skills improve combat performance with the minor stat debuffs inflicted onto foes and gives its wielder post-combat mobility with Canto.
The Canto effect synergizes well with New-Height Bow. Positioning is key in order to reach nearby allies and allow them to utilize its warping effects.
Ascended Florina's Def sits at base 22. Together with her base 39 HP, these stats leave her vulnerable to physical attacks.
Keep Ascended Florina away from physical attackers to ensure her survival.
As a flying unit, Ascended Florina takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.

As of June 2022, S/D Far Trace 3 is unique to Ascended Florina. This skill is the best use of additional Ascended Florina copies you may have.
We suggest inheriting Drive Spd 2 first before using Ascended Florina to inherit S/D Far Trace 3. By doing so, you can take Joint Drive Spd with it at the same time.
