The best IVs for Fallen Julia are +Atk and -Spd. A higher Atk stat allows her to add to her already high damage output. Her Spd is not super important to her as she can already gurantee follow-up attacks through Dark Scripture, so it is safe to take as a bane.

Light and Dark is a Strong Debuff

Light and Dark neutralizes foe's bonuses from skills like Fortify, Rally etc and inflicts -2 to all stats. This synergizes well with Panic Smoke 3 because it converts foe's bonuses into penalties. This makes Fallen Julia a formidable debuffer.

Additionally, the skill also neutralizes effects that calculate damage using the lower defense stat of a unit whether it be Def or Res, allowing her to make use of her amazing Res stat to tank hits from dragons.

Low Def

Fallen Julia has a low Def stat, if she gets attacked by a strong physical attacker, there is a high chance that she will be taken out. Be mindful of Julia's positioning in relation to units that pose a threat to her. Pay extra attention to units that possess weapon like Brave Axe+ as they can guarantee follow-up attacks regardless of Spd, and they are sure to finish her off.

Refresher-assist units that can boost Fallen Julia's offensive output

The Álfr, Peony, Triandra, Plumeria, Mirabilis, are examples of refresher-assist units that greatly boosts Fallen Julia's damage output. They also possess flying movement, which ensures they are always in range of Julia as they can take shortcuts. It is always a good idea to pair Julia with them especially in Aether Raids whether it would be on defense or offense.

Reyson or Leanne

Reyson and Leanne provide both heals and refreshes to Julia so she can brawl it out in the frontlines for much longer. When transformed, they can keep up, or even lead Julia's movement.

Physical powerhouses, preferably those who are strong against blue units

Since Fallen Julia is a magic unit, she would need some allies to cover units that are strong in absorbing magic damage. Some great ideas are Brave Edelgard,, Brave Ike, or Surtr.

Reyson can be a good choice too if you choose to run Triangle Adept 3 for the sole purpose of covering Lilina's weakness against blue units.

For blue choices, Brave Hector sets the bar pretty high up for the the best pick.

High-powered blue brawlers

Def is Julia's weaker stat so blue physical units can easily exploit her. Her Spd is quite bad too. Even slower blues can nail follow-up attacks on her so watch out!

Despite being a green unit, Brave Edelgard is strong enough to take on Fallen Julia. She is very common unit in competitive game modes, and her kit focuses on countering tome users like Julia. Watch out for her.
