What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Refined Zephyr Breath grants armor-effective damage, neutralizes Idunn's penalties, inflicts stat penalties onto foe, denies foe's follow-up attack, and grants damage reduction and post-combat healing to Idunn. ・Duo Skill grants Def/Res bonuses and both armor and dragon weakness negation to Idunn and allies. |
Might: 16 Range: 1 Effective against armored foes. Grants Res +3. If a bonus granted by a skill like Rally or Hone is active on unit or if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, neutralizes unit's penalties and inflicts Atk -6 on foe during combat, and foe cannot make a follow-up attack. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. |
Cooldown Count = 3 Boosts damage dealt by 50% of unit’s Res. |
If foe initiates combat, grants. Atk/Def +6 during combat and inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.) |
If unit’s HP ≥ 50% and foe initiates combat, unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. Grants Special cooldown charge +1 per attack. (Does not stack. ) |
Grants Atk/Spd +4 to dragon allies within 2 spaces during combat. |
Duo Skill |
---|
Grants Def/Res+6 and the following status to unit and allies within 5 rows and 5 columns centered on unit for 1 turn: "Neutralizes 'effective against dragons' bonuses and 'effective against armored' bonuses." (Duo Skills can be used once per map by tapping the Duo button. Duo Skills cannot be used by units deployed using Pair Up.) |
Duel |
---|
If unit is 5★ and level 40 and unit's stats total less than 185, treats unit's stats as 185 in modes like Arena. (Higher-scoring opponents will appear. Stat total calculation excludes any values added by merges and skills.) |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|
HP (20) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Atk (25) | ★★★★☆ | |
Spd (4) | ★★☆☆☆ | |
Def (7) | ★★★★★ | |
Res (11) | ★★★★☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
S!Idunn's best IVs are +Def and -Spd. With a Spd boon, she gets Def+4, making her even more resistant against physical attacks. Since she doesn't really need to worry about enemy follow-up attacks, thanks to her weapon skill, you can safely take a Spd bane.
If you are building a +10 merged S!Idunn, we recommend +Def. This will make her extremely strong against your foes' physical attacks. If you want her to be a more offense based unit, +Atk is a good choice as well.

Spring Idunn's kit is already usable on a budget, so you do not need much investment to make her effective.
Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |
---|---|
SP: 400 | |
Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: 3 Effective against armored foes. Grants Res+3. If 【Bonus】 is active on unit or if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, inflicts Atk-6 and Spd/Def/Res-4 on foe, neutralizes unit's penalties, and foe cannot make a follow-up attack during combat. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-4 on foe during combat, reduces damage from foe's first attack by 5 during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and restores 7 HP to unit after combat, and also, if unit's Res> foe's Res, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage= difference between stats x 4 (max 40%). :500 :200 |

The new weapon refine of Zephyr Breath greatly improves Spring Idunn's tanking capabilities. It now provides damage reduction on enemy-phase turns, stat debuffs on enemies, and HP recovery of 7 after every combat.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Spring Idunn is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat. On top of this, she has access to an additional Duo Skill, which can be activated once per battle.
S!Idunn's Duo Skill raises her arena score, in addition to unleashing a powerful battle effect. Duo Heroes have a Duo Skill which can be used once per map. Additionally, her Duel effect treats her stats as 185 in Arena modes, giving her a big advantage over many other heroes.
Grants Def/Res+6 and the following status to unit and allies within 5 rows and 5 columns centered on unit for 1 turn: Neutralizes 'effective against dragons' bonuses and 'effective against armored' bonuses.
(Duo Skills can be used once per map by tapping the Duo button. Duo Skills cannot be used by units deployed using Pair Up.)
Standard Effect 1: Duel
If unit is 5★ and level 40 and unit's stats total less than 185, treats unit's stats as 185 in modes like Arena. (Higher-scoring opponents will appear. Stat total calculation excludes any values added by merges and skills.)
Spring Idunn has the power to use a unique Duo Skill once per map. This will grant Def/Res+6 to Idunn and an ally and also block skills that are effective on armor and dragons, making her ideal in both armor or dragon parties.
Idunn's exclusive weapon Zephyr Breath will allow her to block penalties on her, inflict Atk-6, and prevent follow-up attacks from a foe when she has an active Rally/Hone skill on her, or she is within two spaces of an ally. As an added bonus, it is effective on armored foes and ranged foes, making Idunn very versatile and powerful in a number of different team types.
With her A Skill Sturdy Stance, and her B Skill Vengeful Fighter, Idunn is made for tanking the foes' attacks. Each time she does this, she will gain Atk/Def+6 and a guaranteed follow-up attack, which will allow her to easily take down a ton of units in the enemy phase.
Like regular Idunn, Spring Idunn has two weaknesses, so units with dragon/armor-effective weapons can quickly take her down. Her Duo Skill can temporarily cancel this out, but you will still need to keep a close eye on enemy unit's weapons.

Spring Idunn can take advantage of being in an all-dragon team, receiving buffs from Hone Dragons or Goad Dragons.
She can also be placed in an all-armor team, who have buffs like Armor March 3 or Hone Armor.

As a dragon, Spring Idunn is weak to weapons that are effective against dragons.
Be mindful, as well, of units that have Ruptured Sky. They have the potential to one shot her because of the damage that Ruptured Sky can bring.
Spring Idunn can also be defeated by weapons like Armorsmasher+ or Light of Dawn.
Even if she has high Res, Spring Idunn does not have Distant Counter built in, so you can chip away at her with magic damage.

Spring Idunn can be used to inherit the skill Sturdy Stance 3. However, since Spring Idunn is a powerful special hero that you can only obtain from a special heroes banner, we recommend training and building her instead. In fact, she is one of the best red heroes around! We recommend investing in her instead of foddering her off. If you get multiple copies, you should start a merge project for Spring Idunn!
Spring Idunn is a limited time Hero who can be pulled from a Special Heroes Summoning Event. They do not appear in regular summons.
Note: Not currently a featured hero in any Summon events.
