|
Might: 16 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Effective against cavalry foes. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to allies within 3 spaces of unit and inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on their foes per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack). Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to engaged allies within 3 spaces of unit during their combat. If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = number of allies within 3 spaces of unit × 3, + 5 (max 14; if unit triggers Savior, value is treated as 14), deals damage = 20% of unit's Def (excluding area-of-effect Specials), reduces damage from foe's attacks by 20% of unit's Def (excluding area-of-effect Specials), inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack (only highest value applied; does not stack), and grants Special cooldown count-1 to unit before foe's first attack during combat. |
|
Cooldown Count = 3 Boosts Special damage by 40% of unit's Def when Special triggers. If foe's Range = 1 and unit or foe's Special is ready or triggered before or during this combat, reduces damage from foe's next attack by 40% (once per combat; excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
|
If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Def+7 to unit during combat, and also, if foe's attack can trigger foe's Special and unit's Res ≥ foe's Res +5 during combat, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first attack. (Cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown.) |
|
If foe with Range = 1 initiates combat against an ally within 2 spaces of unit, triggers 【Savior】 on unit. If foe's Range = 1, grants Atk/Res+4 to unit during combat, any "reduces damage by X%" effect that can be triggered only once per combat by unit's equipped Special skill can be triggered up to twice per combat (excludes boosted Special effects from engaging; only highest value applied; does not stack), and restores 7 HP to unit when unit deals damage to foe during combat (triggers even if 0 damage is dealt). |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Rafal are +Def and -Spd. Boosting Rafal's Def improves it to base 53 and allows Rafal to improve his Def checks from Fell Slaystone.
As a Savior unit, Rafal's Spd is of little importance and can be safely taken as a bane.
We recommend +Def when merging Rafal up to +10 for similar reasons above.

Rafal excels as a Near Save tank due to Fell Slaystone being reliant on Def to provide its valuable in-combat effects.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Rafal is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Rafal's Fell Slaystone deals effective damage against cavalry foes and grants allies within 3 spaces Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 , grants Engaged allies an additional Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4, and inflicts a Guard effect onto their foes during combat.
In combat, Fell Slaystone grants Rafal up to Atk/Spd/Def/Res+14 (based on number of nearby allies; if Rafal triggers Savior, value is set at +14), bonus true damage equal to 20% of Rafal's Def, true damage reduction equal to 20% of Rafal's Def, a Guard effect, and a Preempt Pulse effect before foe's first attack.
Fell Slaystone has a good combination of support, offense, and defense, making it a formidable weapon for a tank unit like Rafal.
Rafal takes 1.5x damage from armor-effective weapons like Randgríðr, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
