When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd and -Res!

Spring Est's best IVs are +Spd and -Res. With a +Spd IV, Est's base Spd stat will reach 38, and that number will grow to 47 when the combined effects of Eagle's Egg and Fury 4 are added in. HP or Def would be the ideal bane stats, but since they are both superbanes, -Res is generally the safer bet.

Atk is a superboon, giving her an extra Atk+4, making it a good boon as well.

+Atk for a +10 Merge

If you are building a +10 merged S!Est, we recommend +Atk. At +10 merges, Est's Spd will reach 42, which is already quite impressive, so the better option at this point would be to raise the damage per attack. If you want to make absolute sure her Spd outsines all of her foes, you could still go with +Spd.

Spring Est is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Spring Est Strengths

Exclusive weapon raises all stats

Spring Est's exclusive weapon Eagle's Egg will give her +5 to all stats, a guaranteed follow-up attack, and cancel any penalties when she is within two spaces of an ally. When combined with Fury 4, she can gain a total of +9 to all stats and not have to worry about enemy penalties.

When refined, Eagle's Egg grants 【Canto (1)】and Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 in-combat, inflicts Def/Res-6 and【Exposure】 onto multiple foes, and disables counterattacks if her foe has a 【Penalty】 applied to them.

These effects allow Spring Est to attack safely and increase the damage output of her team.

Inflicts a penalty on foe's Atk/Res

The B Skill Chill Atk/Res 2 will inflict Atk/Res-5 to whatever foe has the highest Atk and Res total. This skill takes effect regardless of where Est is positioned, and will allow her to both deal more and take less damage from foes.

Easy to make use of in a Flier party

As one of the few blue tome flier units, Spring Est makes a great addition to any flier party. This is solidified by the fact that she has Hone Fliers in her C Slot, which will greatly buff the offensive stats of all adjacent fliers at the start of a turn.

Spring Est Weakness

Weak to bows

As a flying unit, Est takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep her out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.

Inheriting Fury 4

Spring Est can be used to inherit the skill Fury 4. By first inheriting Fury 1-3 and other pre-requisite from a lower rarity unit, you will be able to get Fury 4, Chill Atk/Res 1/2, and Hone Fliers all at the same time. She is a very rare Special Hero however, so think hard about whether or not you are okay with it before foddering her off.
