It was so so so EASY. You just unseath it's blades, doge the attack, freeze it use 1,000 arms, and repeat. :)
I don't know how to get the vellumental circle because if you take it out the chest, he'll just cut it into confetti and next turn you can't use it. So, I just used legendaries. I recommend to get a 1 - up mushroom before this fight. That way if he cuts you, mario will revive.
Ice vellumental did not pop up as one of the tile for me the entire fight. Also enemy attack every single time was “final cut” which ends ur life if you get hit. I used legendary the entire time but it was pretty east to line up shots. Just took a lot of repeating
