How to Get All Stars for Rattata

How to Take Rattata 1 Star Photo

Caption Name Hurry! Hurry!

Running Away

To take a 1 Star Diamond photo of Rattata, start the course at the entrance of the Research Camp. Once you get closer to the campfire, throw an Illumina Orb at the fire. This will scare Rattata and Trubbish. Focus the camera on Rattata and once it starts running and jumping out of the campfire place, snap a nice close-up shot.

How to Take Rattata 2 Star Photo

Caption Name That's a hit!

Hit by a Fluffruit

Taking a 2 Star photo of Rattata is similar to 1 Star. But instead of throwing an Illumina Orb at the fire, hit Rattata with a Fluffruit to make it flinch. While Rattata is flinching, take a close-up shot to achieve 2 Star Diamond.

How to Take Rattata 3 Star Photo

Caption Name Whoa!

A Frightened Rattata

To take a 3 Star Diamond photo of Rattata, repeat the steps on how to get a 1 Star photo. But make sure to position yourself where you can see Rattata's reaction before throwing an Illumina Orb into the fire. Take a nice whole-body shot of Rattata to achieve 3 Star Diamond.

How to Take Rattata 4 Star Photo

Caption Name A friendly dance

A Dancing Rattata

Taking a 4 Star Diamond of Rattata is the same as taking a 4 Star Diamond Sudowoodo and Trubbish. As you move past the campfire, Sudowoodo will be in a small clearing next to the cabins. Look for the Crystabloom on the grass near Sudowoodo and light it up once Sudowoodo gets closer.

This will trigger Sudowoodo, Trubbish, and Rattata to move to the center of the field. Once they reached the center of the field, play a Melody to make them dance. Take a close-up shot of Rattata dancing to achieve 3 Star Diamond.

Try this instead: My method was as follows: At start of course zoom in and start tossing orbs at the crystalbloom to get Sudowoodo to lure him to the middle. Once he's there I used flufffruits to lure Rattata towards the deck. When he gets there keep him there and facing forward. Once you get close enough to him play melody to get him dancing and boom. You got a diamond 3 star. I've used this method to get diamond 2 star as well because I just couldn't get a good shot of him eating otherwise.

Dancing Rattata can be both 3 and 4 star picture. If you get Trubbish in the picture it becomes 4 star. Without him it's 3 star.
