Tillie's skills offer a blend of offensive and defensive capabilities. "Golden Azure Blessing" significantly boosts the attack and critical hit chance of the highest ATK ally, while "Flash of Caerula" deals consistent AoE damage, particularly against enemies with [Multi-Barrier]. "Aura of Golden Grace" enhances Tillie's survivability with damage-based healing and a substantial max HP increase. Finally, "Bluebird Memento" provides valuable critical hit resistance for key allies.

However, Tillie's skills also have some weaknesses. "Golden Azure Blessing" has limited targetting for its buffs and the increased buff requires a specific turn condition. "Flash of Caerula" suffers from random targeting, which can be inefficient. "Aura of Golden Grace" is reactive and ineffective against fatal blows. The magical attacks’ damage becomes equal to 240% of her ATK.
Level 4 (Unlocks by level 181)
The number of magical attacks becomes 5.

Golden Azure Blessing provides a significant ATK and Crit buff to the highest ATK ally, with a delayed stronger effect, followed by random AoE magic damage. However, the random targeting of both the buff and the AoE damage, along with the delayed buff, limits its consistency.

Flash of Caerula deals multiple magic attacks, prioritizing enemies with Multi-Barrier, but its random targeting within that priority still makes it less effective against specific threats.

Level 2 (Unlocks by level 141)
The targets of ［Increased Chance to Resist a Critical Hit］ become the 2 allies with the highest ATK.

The targets of ［Increased Chance to Resist a Critical Hit］ become the 3 allies with the highest ATK.

Aura of Golden Grace provides significant self-healing based on damage taken and a permanent max HP boost, making her more resilient, though vulnerable to one-shot kills and healing reduction.

Bluebird Memento grants critical hit resistance to multiple allies, scaling with skill level, but the buff is dispelled when fewer than four enemies remain.

Tillie's healing, while substantial, can be overwhelmed by characters who can deal massive damage in a single hit or short burst. If you can take her down before her healing has a chance to make a difference, you negate a large part of her defensive capabilities.

While Tillie's max HP increase is permanent, other buffs, like the CRIT RES from Bluebird Memento, can be removed. Removing or stealing these buffs can significantly weaken her team's defenses.

Fia's skills like [HP Drain] and counterattack abilities will help mitigate Tillie's normal attacks. Nina can serve both a tank and a debuffer. Her skills can dispel enemy buffs and inflict debuffs, making it harder for Tillie to deal significant damage. Merlyn is a great support character who can cleanse debuff from allies and buff their critical hit chance. This will help your team survive longer and deal more damage. Primavera can debuff Tillie's through [Buff Immunity], and because Tillie's SPD is lower than Primavera's (unless she gets speedtuned), she is inflicted with [Fainted] as well. Cordie being a burst-damage attacker with [Debuff Immunity].

Alternatively, you can slot in Florence as an attacker to add more damage in Fia's place.

Tillie hard counters Lunalynn due to several key factors. Tillie's Bluebird Memento shuts down Lunalynn's reliance on CRIT hits for [Silence] with Ice Coffin. Tillie's Aura of Golden Grace provides high sustain, making it difficult for Lunalynn's burst damage to stick. Additionally, Tillie's Flash of Caerula can bypass [Multi-Barrier]. Lunalynn, lacking any healing reduction, struggles to overcome Tillie's self-healing. This shows that Tillie's kit directly counters Lunalynn's core mechanics.

Self-Damaging Characters may have a hard time countering Tillie's team as Tillie can buff her ally to defeat characters who needed to damage themselves for a boost.

Tips for Beating Tillie

Use Burst-Damage Characters

Make sure to use characters that can defeat Tillie before she gets to have her permanent HP buff. This way, you cal already negate a big part of her def. She doesn't have other DEF options so make sure she's down before she can buff her ally with ATK and CRIT hit chance.

Increase SPD or use Faster Characters

Use characters who are faster than Tillie, or speedtune your characters so that they move faster than Tillie or her ally with the highest ATK. That way, your team can damage and inflict debuff to them first.
