Gear Sets of MementoMori - Gundam UCE

MementoMori's endgame requires players to get the best gear possible for their witches. But which gear should you get your witch, and do you really need to get a full set of named gear for them? Read on to find out.

What Endgame Gear Should You Get First?

Getting Michael and Metatron Gear Takes a Lot of Resources

Gear Sets of MementoMori - Gundam UCE

The Michael and Metatron Gear Sets are endgame Gear sets you will eventually want to put on your witches because of the massive DEF Break boosts they can get from their Gear Set Effects, on top of the ATK and STA/HP buffs. A complete set of Michael Gear gives a 5,000 DEF Break, while two pieces of Metatron Gear alone give 7,000 DEF Break.

In exchange for this power, however, you will need to spend more than a few resources. Just to get one piece of Metatron Gear, you can expect to spend as much as 60,000 Diamonds on the Invocation of the Seraph's Prophecy banner (assuming that you only get the relics on the third pull, which is guaranteed to give you one relic).

Michael, Metatron, and Satan Gear Comparison

Gear Set Effects Comparison
Full Metatron Full Michael Full Satan
DEF Break +7000 ATK +16% HP +25%
STA +30% STA +20% ATK +16%
ATK +20% DEF Break +5000 DEF Break +4000

Generally, we would recommend shooting for two pieces of Michael Gear, two pieces of Metatron Gear, and two pieces of either Michael, Metatron, or Satan Gear. This way, your witch will get DEF Break, ATK, and HP/STA buffs while not spending all the resources necessary for a full Michael or full Metatron set.

Having full Metatron or even full Michael gear should be an eventual end-goal considering just how much resources you'll have to put into getting this gear.

But depending on what witches you have at your disposal and how much good advanced gear you actually have, you can get away with giving only a few pieces of that gear to certain witches. This will help you allocate resources efficiently while getting the best results from this investment.

You can also test out certain other gear combinations for your witches, such as:

  • 4 Metatron + 2 Michael Gear (+7000 DEF Break / +30% STA / +16% ATK)
  • 2 Metatron + 4 Michael Gear (+7000 DEF Break / +16% ATK / +20% STA)
  • 2 Metatron + 4 Satan Gear (+7000 DEF Break / +25% HP / + 16% ATK)
  • 2 Metatron + 2 Michael + 2 Satan Gear (+7000 DEF Break / +16% ATK / +25% HP)

Gear Set Recommendations

Cordie

MementoMori - Cordie IconCordie
Weapon Jack and Pot (Unique Weapon)
LR/Metatron
Head Any but preferably Satan Gear
Accessory Any but preferably Satan Gear Chest Any but preferably Michael Gear
Gloves Any but preferably Michael Gear Boots Metatron's Cherubic Heels
LR/Metatron

For Cordie, by the late game, she's usually good with just her Unique Weapon (since it lets her give enemies an 80% DEF decrease debuff) and a pair of boots to help her survive longer because of the DEF buff it gives her. You can give her two.

However, if you have the gear to spare, you can equip her four other slots with the suggested gear to get ATK and HP buffs.

Florence

MementoMori - Florence IconFlorence
Weapon Lance of the Unbending Vow
LR/Metatron
Head Any but preferably Michael Gear
Accessory Any but preferably Michael Gear Chest Any but preferably Michael Gear
Gloves Metatron's Serene Gloves
LR/Metatron
Boots Any but preferably Michael Gear

If you are still using Florence as one of your secondary attackers and you have the resources to give her decent gear, you can't go wrong with giving her two pieces of Metatron gear and four pieces of Michael gear. This way, she gets not only the DEF Break buff but also the 20% STA buff that boosts both her HP and resistance to critical hits.

Your second piece of Metatron gear can be either her gloves or her boots. Both are fine since they both give her DEF buffs, though her gloves will probably be your best gear since they can be augmented with Holy levels for more CRIT Damage.

Fia

MementoMori - Fia IconFia
Weapon Helpless Ingot
LR/Metatron
Head Metatron's Celestial Veil
LR/Metatron
Accessory Satan's Temptation
SSR/Satan
Chest Metatron's Ethereal Gown
LR/Metatron
Gloves Satan's Soiree Gloves
SSR/Satan
Boots Metatron's Cherubic Heels
LR/Metatron

With Fia, you want her to survive for as long as possible so she can keep taking hits throughout the battle and pay it all back once she gets to use her second active skill again.

That's why the best gear combo for her is four pieces of Metatron Gear and two pieces of Satan Gear. This way, Fia gets not only the 7,000 DEF Break and 30% STA buffs, but the 25% HP buff as well from the Satan gear.

Sivi

MementoMori - Sivi IconSivi
Weapon Helpless Ingot
LR/Metatron
Head Metatron's Celestial Veil
LR/Metatron
Accessory Satan's Temptation
SSR/Satan
Chest Metatron's Ethereal Gown
LR/Metatron
Gloves Satan's Soiree Gloves
SSR/Satan
Boots Metatron's Cherubic Heels
LR/Metatron

Just like Fia, Sivi needs to survive long enough for her damage to ramp up sufficiently. This is why you will want to ramp up her DEF and P. DEF with LR headgear and boots or gloves alongside the other gear pieces. This way, Sivi has high HP on top of having high DEF and P. DEF.

Merlyn

MementoMori - Merlyn IconMerlyn
Weapon Staff of Sylvan Harvest
LR/Metatron
Head Satan's Ebony Fascinator
SSR/Satan
Accessory Satan's Temptation
SSR/Satan
Chest Satan's Midnight Ball Gown
SSR/Satan
Gloves Metatron's Serene Gloves
LR/Metatron
Boots Satan's Heels of Twilight
SSR/Satan

For Merlyn, since she'll mostly fill the role of a support unit (boosting the CRIT chance of your main attackers), she does not need full Michael or Metatron gear. You can, however, give her two pieces of Metatron Gear (her unique weapon and either her gloves or boots) and the rest can be pieces of Satan Gear. This way, she gets a DEF Break buff, as well as ATK and HP buffs.
