Should You Pull for Summer Amleth?
A Good Amber DPS and Support Unit to Pull For
Summer Amleth is one of the better units anyone from free to play players to whales can benefit from getting because of her multiple roles: DPS, support debuffer, and tank.
Her first and second active skills are AoE and multi-hit respectively, and both of them hit harder when they're used for the third time (probably around the 10th to 12th turn, which is easy to get to if Summer Amleth's already triggered her invincibility passive).
Her first active skill inflicts a 25% P. DEF debuff on all targets (the entire enemy team, if she has her unique wepaon), which she doesn't need multiple copies to do. If your team is made up of other Amber units that do physical damage like Rustica or Potpourri, this can make them deal more damage.
Finally, Summer Amleth does not have the original Amleth's weakness: Her invincibility buff cannot be stolen anymore, but if it's triggered before the 7th turn it will decrease Amleth's ATK by 90%. If it activates anytime after that, however, then you will have up to 10 turns of Amleth being invulnerable. If nothing else, this helps her tank hits while your actual DPS units take care of the enemy.
Get Multiple Copies If You Intend to Use Her as a DPS
If you intend to use Summer Amleth as a DPS, she will need to be awakened to at least LR rarity to have the right stats. In PvP, even if both parties have Summer Amleths, it's the Summer Amleth with the better gear and higher rarity that will win in the end.
When Not To Pull For Summer Amleth
Summer Amleth is a Must-Pull Unit
It's hard to come up with a scenario for when to not pull for Summer Amleth just because of how plain useful she is with minimal drawbacks. Whether just one copy or all the copies needed to get to LR, there's little reason not to pull for Summer Amleth at least once.
