The Dahlia is a great addition to the Super Break team and can Ruan Mei in a full premium team. We recommend pulling for The Dahlia if you are looking to either upgrade your Break team or replace Ruan Mei, so you can use her in other teams, such as the Kafka DoT team.
The Dahlia's Light Cone, Never Forget Her Flame, increases the wearer's Break Effect. This Light Cone can also increase the wearer and another unit's Break DMG, and can provide some Skill Point restoration.
While a nice Light Cone to have, it's not a must-pull if you have other Light Cones, such as Long Road Leads Home or the 4-star alternatives.

Using Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge is generally recommended for The Dahlia's support build due to the Break Effect it provides, as well as the boost to her own personal DMG.
However, players can also opt to use Thief of Shooting Meteor to help with her energy generation if needed.
Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern is her best ornament due to its speed bonus as well as its Break Effect bonus.

68% Effect Hit Rate |
It's ideal to reach 150% Break Effect, or 250% if possible, on The Dahlia to utilize the set effect of Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge. If you have Talia equipped on The Dahlia, get at least 145 SPD for her. If not, then just ensure that she goes first before the DPS.
If you have the Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat equipped on The Dahlia, then try to get at least 68% Effect Hit Rate to guarantee the Light Cone debuff application.

| Trace | Scaling and Explanation |
|---|---|
| Basic ATK | Fiddle... Fissured Memory: Deals Fire DMG equal to 50% of The Dahlia's ATK to one designated enemy target. |
| Skill | Lick... Enkindled Betrayal: Deploys a Zone that lasts for 3 turn(s). This duration decreases by 1 at the start of The Dahlia's turn. Then, deals Fire DMG equal to 80% of The Dahlia's ATK to one designated enemy and their adjacent targets. While the Zone lasts, increases all allies' Weakness Break Efficiency by 50%. Toughness Reduction taken by enemy targets while not Weakness Broken can also be converted into Super Break DMG. |
| Ultimate | Wallow... Entombed Ash: Inflicts a "Wilt" state on all enemies, lasting for 4 turn(s). Then, deals Fire DMG equal to 180% of The Dahlia's ATK, which is distributed evenly across all enemies. Enemy targets in the "Wilt" state have their DEF reduced by 8.0% and will be implanted with Weakness of all Dance Partners' Types. |
| Talent | Who's Afraid of Constance?: When entering combat, The Dahlia regenerates 35 Energy and becomes "Dance Partners" along with the teammate that triggered combat. Whenever there is no other "Dance Partner" on the field, this unit and the teammate with the highest Break Effect become "Dance Partners" together. After a "Dance Partner" attacks a Weakness Broken enemy target, the Toughness Reduction from this attack will be converted into 1 instance of Super Break DMG at 30%. After an enemy target gets attacked by the other "Dance Partner," The Dahlia launches Follow-Up ATK and deals 5 instance(s) of DMG, each dealing Fire DMG equal to 15% of The Dahlia's ATK to one random enemy. After each instance of DMG dealt to a Weakness Broken enemy target, the Toughness Reduction from this DMG will be converted into 1 instance of Super Break DMG at 100%. This effect can only trigger once per turn. If the target is defeated before the Follow-Up ATK is used, it will be launched at one random enemy instead. |
| Trace | Scaling and Explanation |
|---|---|
| Technique | The Heart Makes the Finest Tomb: After using Technique, creates a Special Dimension that lasts for 20 second(s). Enemies within this dimension will not actively attack ally targets. After entering combat with enemies in the Special Dimension, The Dahlia immediately deploys her Skill's Zone, and converts the combat-triggering Toughness Reduction into 1 instance of Super Break DMG at 60% against enemy targets that are Weakness Broken. Only 1 Dimension Effect created by allies can exist at the same time.
Stat Bonus: 1. Break Effect +5.3% 2. Break Effect +10.7% |
| Bonus Ability | Outgrow the Old, Espouse the New: When an ally target adds Weakness to an enemy target, increases SPD by 30% for 2 turn(s). If a Fire ally character implanted a Weakness when using an attack, then after the attack, additionally deals a fixed amount of 20 Fire Toughness Reduction to every target implanted with Weakness. Also, regenerates Energy equal to 10% of Max Energy. This effect can regenerate Energy up to 50% of Max Energy.
Stat Bonus: 1. SPD +3 2. Effect RES +8.0% |
| Bonus Ability | Lament, Lost Soul: When using Talent's Follow-Up ATK, recovers 1 Skill Point for allies. For every 2 instance(s) of Talent's Follow-Up ATK used, this effect can trigger once.
Stat Bonus: 1. Break Effect +8.0% 2. Effect RES +6.0% 3. Break Effect +8.0% |
| Bonus Ability | Yet Another Funeral: When entering combat, increases other characters' Break Effect an amount equal to 24% of The Dahlia's Break Effect plus 50% lasting for 1 turn(s). When The Dahlia receives healing or a Shield provided by a teammate, this effect triggers again, lasting for 3 turn(s). Cannot trigger repeatedly within one turn.
Stat Bonus: 1. Effect RES +4.0% 2. Break Effect +5.3% 3. SPD +2 |

The Dahlia's Skill unleashes a Gloomy Zone, which will allow allies to deal Super Break DMG to enemies even if they're not Weakness Broken.
Allies in the Gloomy Zone will have their Weakness Break Efficiency increased.

At the start of combat, The Dahlia automatically assigns an allied unit as a Dance Partner. After either The Dahlia or her Dance Partner attacks an enemy, they instantly deal Break DMG based on the Toughness Reduction of the attack.
After the Dance Partner attacks an enemy, The Dahlia will unleash a Follow-up attack that can bounce between enemies.

The Dahlia's Ultimate can apply DEF reduction and a type weakness to all enemies based on the element of the Dance Partner.
The Dahlia will also increase an ally's SPD if they implant a type weakness onto the enemy. If a Fire character triggers the effect, they will also get their energy restored.

The Dahlia's Technique will summon a Dimension that will prevent enemies from attacking you. When entering combat while the Dimension is active on enemies, the Gloomy Zone from The Dahlia's Skill will instantly be activated.
