Roads to the Past Have Long Been Closed can be unlocked once you reach Trailblaze Level 24 or above and have completed The Stars Are Cold Toys mission.

Roads to the Past Have Long Been Closed Walkthrough

	Quest Walkthrough
1	Once you have a team that meets the requirements below, head on over to the Corridor of Fading Echoes and enter the End of the Eternal Freeze challenge area. Challenge Requirements: ・The team must include the Trailblazer. ・All team members must be level 30 or above.
2	Make your way up to the Stellaron and watch a cutscene between Cocolia and Bronya.
3	Once the cutscene ends, battle the enemies Cocolia throws at you. Defeat all 3 enemy waves to progress the quest.
4	Watch the cutscene that plays after the fight.
5	Battle Cocolia solo as the Trailblazer. Do not worry as you are meant to lose this fight.
6	Once Cocolia defeats the Trailblazer, you will be taken into a different plane of existence. Approach the blue motes of light to view a memory of Cocolia.
7	View each of the memories until you reach the small child at the center of the vortex. Speak to it and claim the power of the Path of Preservation. This unlocks the powerful, Trailblazer (Fire).
8	Fight Cocolia, Mother of Deception again, but this time with your full team and the Fire Trailblazer. Defeat her to complete the mission and end the Eternal Freeze on Jarilo-VI.

Quantum	Lightning	Fire

While Cocolia, Mother of Deception is also weak to Lightning and Quantum, the most effective element to use will be Fire. Since you automatically have Trailblazer (Fire) for this battle, try bringing along other Fire-type characters to make breaking her Toughness a breeze.

Bring Along an Upgraded Natasha for F2P Heals

Natasha does a great job of keeping your team alive, especially when you only have F2P options for your team comps. Save her ultimate for when you get hit by Cocolia's Last Choir of Genesis AoE attack to quickly bring your team's HP back up to fighting condition.

Use the Engine of Creation to Break the Lances of Eternal Freeze

At one point of the fight, Cocolia will summon 2 Lances of Eternal Freeze to aid her in battle. These do massive amounts of AoE damage so they are dangerous to leave on the field for a long period of time. Use the Engine of Creation attack to quickly dispose of them and leave Cocolia alone on the battlefield.

Deplete Cocolia's Toughness to Interrupt the Creation's Prelude

During Phase 2 of the fight, Cocolia will start charging up her Last Choir of Genesis AoE attack by casting The Creation's Prelude. To interrupt it and prevent the AoE attack from being cast, break Cocolia's Toughness using a combination of Fire attacks and the Engine of Creation.
