How to Destroy Billboards

Use Explosives

While they are not exactly hard to destroy, these billboards will need a bit of bullets to take down using regular guns. The Dynamite and Molotov gadget mods would be good here.

All checkpoints will have soldiers in them and engaging the billboards will cause them to attack you. Worse, if you allow them to survive for long they will call for reinforcements making the job to takeover checkpoints harder.

Billboards and checkpoints are a sign of Anton Castillo's attempt to sway citizens from the guerilla's control as well as to weed out any guerillas attempting to enter his precious cities.

Destroying these billboards will allow guerillas to remove the influence of Castillo and allow you to take over a checkpoint and use it as Fast Travel points.
