Far Cry 6 will be available on several platforms including consoles and PC. Check the details below for a list of platforms Far Cry 6 is available on.
Far Cry 6 will be made available on two major consoles, PlayStation and Xbox, but has no plans for release on Nintendo Switch.
Far Cry 6 will be available on both current and next gen consoles of PlayStation. PlayStation 4 users with plans of getting a PlayStation 5 soon as the game can readily upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version.
Similar to the PlayStation, Far Cry 6 will be available on current and next gen consoles of Xbox. And like PS4 users, Xbox One users can easily upgrade their copy to Xbox Series X or S.
Far Cry 6 will be available on PC and can be officially obtained from two sources - Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store.
Far Cry 6 will also available on cloud gaming platforms such as Google Stadia as well as on Amazon Luna.

Unfortunately, the game will not be available on Steam. Ubisoft has made mention that the game will only be available on its Ubisoft Connect and at Epic Games Store.
There are no current plans for Far Cry 6 to hit the Nintendo Switch. However, with other high-profile open world games like Witcher 3 reaching the Switch, it's possible that Far Cry 6 will eventually be ported with some reductions in capability.
