Tips and Strategies

Watch Out for Poison Point

While Nidoran♀'s Poison Point would make poison a problem this early on, it does not seem like it activates very often in Thunderwave Cave. Just in case, we recommend bringing both Cheri Berries and Pecha Berries, so you can recover from Paralysis and Poison.

Remember that you can change leaders if your Pokemon get hungry or run of of PP for their long range move.

Recommeded Pokemon

Cubone

If you are aiming for the best starter for the dungeon, Cubone's type advantage and moves make it the best choice.

However, Thunderwave Cave is still an early dungeon and you can beat it with all starters.
