Pokemon Type
Psyduck ImagePsyduck

As a Water-type Pokemon, Psyduck can also cover Rock-type Pokemon, which resist Normal-type moves.

Move Type Effect
Dark Pulse DarkDark It damages nearby enemies. It could also make them Flinch.
Fury Swipes NormalNormal It damages an enemy 2 to 5 times in a row.
Shadow Ball GhostGhost It damages even a faraway Pokemon. It could also lower the enemy's Sp. Def.
Thunderbolt ElectricElectric It damages nearby enemies. It could also cause Paralysis.

Notes

  • This moveset provides Meowth with a strong STAB option in Fury Swipes and good type coverage.
  • Fury Swipes is one of the best moves in the game. Coupled with its STAB and Meowth's good Atk, it can take out a lot of Pokemon in just one turn.
  • Other moves to consider for type coverage include: Aerial Ace, Shadow Claw, Thunder, U-turn.
  • Take note that Meowth learns Nasty Plot at Lv. 38. Consider it if you rely on Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt and Dark Pulse or the other Special moves a lot.
