Tips and Strategies

Best Items to Bring

Oran Berry ImageOran Berry Reviver Seed ImageReviver Seed Apple ImageApple

You don't need to bring anything special for Murky Cave aside from the usual recovery items like Oran Berries and Reviver Seeds and food items like Apples.

Best Pokemon to Use

Ampharos ImageAmpharos Ludicolo ImageLudicolo

Since the Murky Cave is full of Water-type Pokemon, we suggest bringing Grass- and Electric-type Pokemon that can easily take out enemy Pokemon. That said, there are also a bunch of Fire-type and Ground-type Pokemon in Murky Cave, so try not to rely on one or the other too much.

Pokemon to Watch Out For

Poliwrath ImagePoliwrath Typhlosion ImageTyphlosion Whiscash ImageWhiscash

A lot of Pokemon in Murky Cave have access to long-range attacks, so be careful. If you can't deal with them from afar, try moving carefully so that you don't end up in line with them.
