Legendary Fae

While Fae herself isn't particularly going to change the meta like Fallen Edelgard, the new A Skill she carries, Distant Stance, may very well do so.
IS has finally powercrept Distant Counter and gave us a very helpful skill against magic users, which we know are slightly more difficult to deal with in all game modes.
This is due to many units having a higher Def stat than Res, which makes tanking physical damage slightly easier than magic.
With Distant Stance being inheritable, we might be seeing a surge in extremely difficult to defeat tanks in both Aether Raids and the Arena.

With the debut of Ascended Fjorm, we have a new currency - Ascendant Florets!
These icy flowers enable you to essentially give your units another Boon on top of the one they already have.
Ascendant Florets are given the first time you summon an Ascended Unit, though summoning additional copies will not give additional Florets.
Ascended Units can be Ascended for free, while other units will need to consume a Floret to gain another Boon.

Ascended Fjorm
[9.0/10] |
Legendary Fae is here to grace us with 3 weeks of Earth season in the Arena and with it comes Legendary Claude and Legendary Julia.
Claude is the Earth season menace to watch out for, with his Fallen Star skill making him hard to take down when he initiates combat.
Julia presents herself as a a pretty good counter if Legendary Fae herself is on the battlefield due to her dragon-effective weapon and Light and Dark skill.
Ascended Fjorm is a bonus unit this season and we expect we'll be seeing her gracing the Arena, protecting allies with A/R Far Save 3 and being an inconvenience to ranged units in general.
Time to bring out your player phase, phyiscal damage, melee units this season as both Julia and Claude are weak to them due to having low Def.
Take Claude out before he has time to trigger Fallen Star by initiating combat on him.
Taking Julia works the same way as she has no built in Close Counter in her kit.
Units with Armorsmasher+ are great against Ascended Fjorm, although you can settle for any Sword unit with big damage such as Fallen Ike or Malice.
Speaking of, didn't we just have Fallen Ike as a Forma Unit and Malice should also be a bonus unit this week...?
The Aether Raids meta has once again been shaken up by the introduction of Ninja Corrin (F).
She is pretty much a cavalry and magic version of Ninja Lyn, who already is a meta-defining unit in this game mode.
The good news is that Ninja Corrin (F) cannot equip Disarm Trap 3, unlike her dagger-wielding counterpart. This allows you to set up your trap line to defend your team against her engages.
Offense though, is another matter. Top defenses will be adding Ninja Corrin (F) into their teams due to her sheer prowess and status as a Duo hero which activates Duo's Hindrance.
If you are running a tanking or save ball strategy, prepare your team to withstand Ninja Corrin (F)'s initial onslaught.
You can either prepare Res and Spd buffs to support your tank against her, or simply run a red Far Save unit like Valentine's Henriette who easily survives Ninjja Corrin (F)'s initial attack and kills her in return.
Do NOT run a Brave Hector tanking team against a cavline including Ninja Corrin (F). It will simply be a disaster for your raiding party.
A better alternative is to prepare a Hit and Run team to take out Ninja Corrin (F) and/or other problematic units and then retreat to safety using Cano and movement-assist skills and use your Safety Fence to move to the second turn unscathed.
However, sometimes this simply isn't possible due to the presence of Near Save units like Valentine's Gustav or Brave Hector on the defense team. We recommend preparing both a tanking team and a Hit and Run team to expand your options in case this happens.
