This is an article on how to make use of the Ascendant Floret in Fire Emblem Heroes (FEH). To know what an Ascendant Floret does and where you can obtain them, read on!

What is an Ascendant Floret?

Add an additional Boon!

An Ascended Floret is an item that lets you grant an additional Boon to any unit you wish!

This means that you can raise another unit's stats to +3 (or +4 if they have a Superboon!) and make them even more powerful.

Where to Get Ascendant Florets

Summon an Ascended Hero!

You get 1 Ascendant Floret when you summon an Ascended Hero for the first time.

At the time of writing, the only Ascended Hero released so far is Ascended Fjorm.

Summoning additional copies of an Ascended Hero will not give you any additional Florets.

Free Floret when you visit Ascend Traits screen

Everyone gets a free Ascendant Floret when they visit the Ascend Traits menu for the first time.

To access this menu, go to Allies, then Traits/Equipment.

Ascend Traits will be at the bottom of the selection.

How to Use Ascended Florets

Access the Ascend Traits menu

To start Ascending a trait, access the Ascend Traits menu as discussed above.

Choose a unit to ascend a trait

Merged, neutral IV units are calculated differently

Keep in mind that merged units with neutral IVs cannot get the full increase in stats from the Ascended Trait.

This is because merging a neutral IV unit will net them +2 or +1 in a stat, and Ascending a stat will only net them either a +2 or a +1 as well.

In the above example, a fully merged +10 New Year Eir with neutral IVs cannot have +3 in her Atk but will have +2 instead.

This, however, does not apply in a merged unit that has been given a Trait Fruit.

You cannot choose a trait that already has a Boon

Units that already have a boon in a stat cannot have that same stat Ascended.

You will need to pick another stat.

Flaws are canceled out

If your unit has a Bane, it will be canceled out and turned into a neutral IV.

We highly recommend that you do not spend your Ascended Floret to cancel out a Bane, as merging will do the same thing.

Because Ascended Florets are scarce, it's better to invest them in units that you like.

Ascended Traits are not calculated in the Arena

Even though Ascended Traits increase a unit's stat, these are not included in the score calculation being done in the Arena.
